Sect leader Zhao stared deep into those obsidian eyes that shone with a mesmerizing brilliance that could easily draw one's soul out of their body. His face was red as the veil of death hovered above his head.
He had failed this disciple so many times and discarded him like a used condom once he got what he needed. He knew he was playing with fire but Qie Ranzhe's excellence kept him chipping at his disciple till he let him go after realising his disciple was about to discover his true nature.
This is why he not only expelled Qie Ranzhe from the Zhao sect but he also incited other sect leaders to not accept him into their sects after painting the most heinous picture of him. His plan worked but he underestimated Qie Ranzhe. What he didn't realise is that one can never suppress greatness.
