Chapter 11

IS IT POSSIBLE to bring someone to Heaven even if they're still alive? Sounds impossible. But for Vivianne, that's the most fitting thing to say for what she's feeling right now.

Beckett isn't the typical guy she used to date in the past. Contrary to his innocent-like features and his reputation as a good boy, his kisses were the opposite. They were deep and daring, as if Beckett was craving her.

"S-Stop—" Vivianne couldn't finish her sentence as Beckett suddenly grabbed both of her hands. Using one hand, Beckett pinned Vivianne's hands above her head, while his other hand went from her nape, down to her arms and waist.

It was a shallow but electrifying touch that made Vivianne bite the lower lip of the man. It was slightly forceful, and she didn't know why she did it. She only knew one thing. Each stroke of Beckett's hand drove her crazy.

It was gentle yet seductive. Beckett seemed to know exactly how to seduce her even with just a kiss.

"Kiss me back, Vivianne," Beckett whispered as their lips briefly separated. "That's all you can do to ease my anger. Do it for me, baby..."

In one swift motion, Beckett's lips crashed onto Vivianne's again. This time, it was more aggressive and fierce. Beckett licked every corner of Vivianne's lips as if seeking permission to enter with his tongue.

He wanted access, but he wouldn't force Vivianne to do something she didn't want—it's not his style.

However, Vivianne was an exception. He didn't usually initiate kisses, but because of Vivianne's stubbornness, he found herself doing just that. Her lethal words coming from her sweet, seductive mouth made Beckett lose his sanity.

And it seemed like he was losing his sanity completely when he heard Vivianne moan as Beckett's tongue explored her lower lip again.

It wasn't his first kiss. He had engaged in various hot sexual activities, but it was his first time getting turned on like this from just a kiss. It was a blow to his ego, but now that he had tasted Vivianne's lips, he knew he couldn't remain silent.

Vivianne felt the same way. She wasn't innocent like others. She may be a virgin, but she had experienced make-outs with her ex-boyfriend, Tristan. Luckily, she hadn't given her virginity to him because she would have regretted it.

Before Vivianne even realized it, she kissed Beckett back, hard and rough. With only the street lights illuminating the area and the risk of someone seeing them kissing passionately, her core throbbed with arousal.

She knew it was dangerous. She knew she couldn't stop. Above all, she knew it was wrong.

Beckett, of all people, was her boss... and her enemy. So why the hell was she acting as if she wanted Beckett to have her?

"Shit," Vivianne muttered softly as Beckett suddenly stopped kissing her, causing her to come back to her senses.

Beckett slowly released Vivianne's hands before taking a step back. It was a way to save her... because if he didn't distance himself from her, he might have done something worse.

Beckett was twice, or thrice as scary when he's angry. Unfortunately, Vivianne just pushed one of the wrong buttons, and it was the stupidest thing she had ever done.

"W-What the hell? S-So, you just kiss anyone you like?" Vivianne stammered, her eyes widening.

It might sound like a lie, but it wasn't. Beckett was sure that he didn't like Vivianne—it was more than that.

Beckett, however, didn't want Vivianne to think she had the upper hand.

"Not because I'm tolerating your shits means I'm letting this go." Beckett's hands went to Vivianne's lips, caressing them with his thumb. "Stop provoking my patience. You won't like it."

Vivianne's whole body went cold as Beckett pressed his hand against her mouth before finally releasing it. In one swift motion, Beckett left Vivianne alone, with her heart racing and her panties getting wet from the seductive encounter.

"Miss Vivianne, Sir Alfred is calling for you. He said he needs to talk to you," one of the maids said, bringing Vivianne back to reality.

"Okay... Thank you," Vivianne replied softly.

She temporarily pushed Beckett out of her mind before returning to the mansion. She would deal with Beckett's wrongdoing later, but for now, she needed to handle the issues within her family.

Meanwhile, Beckett sat in the driver's seat of his car, staring straight ahead. He tightly gripped the steering wheel, holding onto it as if his sanity depended on it.

Beckett, despite tasting the sweetest lips today, was still fuming with anger. He didn't appreciate Vivianne's sharp tongue earlier, but he didn't want to vent his anger on her. Vivianne was lucky that Beckett was able to control himself.

Especially that hard thing down there.

"Shit. This isn't good," Beckett muttered to himself as he glanced down at his arousal.

It was hard. It almost ripped through his pants as he remembered how sweet Vivianne's lips were—more than he had expected. Beckett knew he wanted more... But he couldn't continue.

It was Vivianne... And he shouldn't fall in love with her.

"I need to find someone to fuck. Damn it," Beckett whispered, cursing repeatedly.

He was about to start the car when his phone suddenly rang. Beckett looked at it and saw that it was Nathan, one of his trusted associates when it came to his illegal business.

He quickly answered the phone, knowing that if Nathan called without sending a text first, it meant an emergency.

"What is it?" Beckett asked as he pressed the green button.

Greetings weren't necessary. He wanted to get straight to business, especially now that his mood was not that good... and it seemed like it was about to get worse.

"We caught the traitors in our business, Boss," Nathan said, his voice cold with a tone of anger. "We also caught some of the clients you wanted to locate. The ones who didn't pay, and one of them almost reported us to the police."

"That damn fucker." Beckett took a deep breath upon hearing those words.

Aside from stupid people, Beckett also hated liars and those who didn't know their place. Like some of his drug clients who thought they could escape Beckett by changing locations or leaving the country.

But what Beckett wants, Beckett gets. Now, all he wanted was to punish those people for deceiving him.

"Alright. I'll be there in a few minutes."

Beckett ended the call and sped off in his car to reach their hideout. His den consisted of two departments—the drug department and the training department. It was the place where his guards stayed for training.

There was another location where Beckett's trolls operated. They were the reason why there were no bad rumors about Beckett in the showbiz industry. Well, most of the credit went to him. If not for his handsome looks and talent in modeling, he wouldn't have reached the top.

But his trolls were the ones who cleaned up his mess. They were the reason why no bad news came out against Beckett.

Aside from trolls, there's also another place where Beckett formulates drugs. He has ships and yachts. He experiments there before bringing the ingredients and procedures to Jeremy for analysis.

"Boss," Nathan greeted along with a few men as they saw Beckett approaching.

"Where are they?" Beckett asked, rolling up his sleeves. "Where are the fucking traitors?"

"There, Boss," Nathan replied.

Nathan led Beckett to a vacant room where Vivianne was. In the middle were the people Nathan had caught, kneeling on the floor with their hands and feet tied. They had gags in their mouths, and their eyes were covered.

"They were making a lot of noise, Boss. We were getting annoyed, so we covered their mouths for now," Nathan explained as Beckett's gaze landed on their gags.

Beckett didn't mind their mouths being covered. He didn't intend to reprimand the men. He was just reminded of Vivianne and their deep kiss earlier.

Beckett wanted to taste her again, and at the same time, he wanted to smack himself on the wall for thinking about a damn girl while in the middle of illegal work.

"Who among those people called the police?" Beckett asked, raising his hand.

Nathan handed Beckett a face mask and a baseball bat. Beckett wasn't a baseball player, but he bought one of the most expensive baseball bats in New York. The black color, partnered with shiny gold glitters, complemented Beckett's sardonic attitude.

Beckett wore the face mask, making him look like a killer—which he is.

But he was more brutal than anyone else. Unfortunately for them, he needed to unleash his anger.

"That one, Boss. The boy at the end," Nathan said, pointing to the guy who was also blindfolded.

Beckett furrowed his brow as he approached the man because his face seemed familiar.

"Remove his blindfold and bring him to me," Beckett ordered, and Nathan immediately followed his command.

When Beckett saw the man's face in its entirety, his fist clenched. The guy wasn't just familiar to him; Beckett knew him.
