Saved By The Alpha Who Turns Out To Be My Mate

"Not here, weakling! We're going to meet at the stream close to the pack's border in an hour, then you can show me what you got." He informed her. "Fine, challenge accepted! But if I defeat you, you're going to stop bullying me and leave me be!" Aurora gritted out. "Sure." He replied her. "The hatred I have for you will stop when you're no more. Over there, nobody will come to your rescue and I can finally tear you apart. Nobody disrespects Dante and go scot free!" Dante thought inwardly as he walked away. Aurora's life was supposed to be perfect as she was of a noble birth but unfortunately, it was nowhere near perfection. Her father was the beta, the second in command to the Alpha of their pack and her mother was one of the pack's strong warriors. As she was the first daughter, she was treated like a flower, sheltered from harm, sadness, disturbance and trouble, and was only exposed to pure joy, pure love, happiness and everything beautiful while growing up but her life wasn't full of roses, as she grew older! Growing up, she had believed she would be normal like every other werewolf in her pack and the entire werewolf community, but alas, she was strangely different. She was the only werewolf in her pack that had no wolf, an inner animal, thus she was treated like an outcast. While other werewolves got their wolves on their sixteenth birthdays, hers refused to show up. Not even when she turned eighteen. Not even when she met her mate!!!

The Deal

"What mischief could this she-devil be planning this time?" Aurora wondered and peered at Tina as if to figure out what she was going to say.

Tina smirked and right there, Aurora knew she wasn't going to like what she would ask her to do.

"Here's it, my love... You're going to be my servant for a week. I'm deciding on a week because I don't want you to think I'm a mean person when we're just having fun. It's all fun, alright?" Tina informed her.

Aurora and Katie gasped at the same time.

"Excuse me? Be your servant for a week? Why would I agree to such a ridiculous idea? Are you out of your mind?" Aurora fumed.

"You would agree to what I want because you lost to me in this challenge and there was an agreement. If you have won, won't you ask for something as the winner?" Tina asked her.

"Erm, yeah, I'd ask but not something as ridiculous as what you're asking for. Be your servant? That's crazy." Aurora protested.

"Well, that is what I want and you're going to oblige whether you like it or not, because if you don't, you're going to pay for it big time and you will regret not agreeing to be the servant for a week. That's very simple and considerate compared to other things I can make you do." Tina stated.

"Is that a threat?" Katie deadpanned.

"Not really, my love. I'm merely stating how it would be. You should know that I get whatever I want, no matter what. Don't try me, Aurora." Tina said as an advice.

"Alien, you should know that if you don't agree on your own free will, we will force you to obey as her servant, and that won't be pleasant. You know what we can do to you at where nobody is watching, right? A lot of terrible things would have happened to you before a savior would come for you." Gracie whispered into Aurora's ear.

"Stop calling me an alien! I'm no an alien." Aurora seethed.

"What are you girls still doing over there? Get Aurora to the clinic immediately." The chief warrior called out after looking back and saw they were still conversing in group.

"You're going to resume work today, my love. I shall communicate with you whenever I need my servant. Now, go and get cleaned up. You look bloody. We can't afford to let you lose much blood, you know, so you can resume work." Tina told her and started walking out of the training center.

"Congratulations on your appointment as a servant, Alien!" Clara taunted. She and Gracie followed Tina, sashaying their hips as they walked out of the hall.

"What have you gotten yourself into, Aurora? I have told you to stay clear of those girls' path. They're good for nothing fellows. Very mischievous. What will you do now? Should we should report them to your father? He is definitely going to step in and warn them to get off your back." Katie suggested, with concern. They had started walking out of the hall, heading to the clinic to get her treated.

"No." Aurora maintained sharply.

"No? You mean, you're just going to be a servant for a whole instead of making use of your father's position?" Katie asked, looking at her like she'd grown two heads.

"How can I involve my father in something as trivial as this? You know how manipulative Tina is, she is definitely going to wriggle her way out, without being found guilty and make me look like the bad person afterwards. More so, I have to learn how to stand up for myself and take care of my business without involving anybody. Involving my father will make me feel like the weakling everybody thinks I am. I need to hold my own against them, all by myself. I should be independent." Aurora pointed out.

"There are other ways to act independent and prove you're not a weakling, Rory." Katie tried to make her change her decision and ask for help.

"No, Katie. I'm going to help myself without asking for anybody's help. I'm going to be fine. I got this, bestie." Aurora assured her friend adamantly.

"You're so stubborn. Well, I'd have to unfriend you for the period you're going to be a servant. I can't befriend a servant, you know." Katie said, jokingly. Aurora laughed.

"You dare not unfriend me. If you unfriend me, I'm going to befriend you by all means, even forcefully!" Aurora joked.

"You brat!" Katie stated and playfully punched her by the side. Aurora winced in pain. She had mistakenly touched where she was injured.

"Oh my God! I'm so so so sorry, dear." She apologized immediately, feeling guilty.

"It's okay. I know it's not intentional. See you who wants to unfriend me, looking all worried and disturbed because I winced in pain." Aurora said, teasing her friend.

"Stop talking, let's just go get you treated. I don't want to have you fainting on me." Katie said.

"I thank the moon goddess for blessing me with a friend like you." Aurora stated gratefully and they smiled at each other.

Few hours later, after being treated and feeling much better, Aurora had gone home and was able to evade explaining to her family how she got hurt, because nobody was around.

"My mom wants to send me on an errand by noon. I'm going to check on you when I'm back. Take good care of yourself and relax well." Katie had said before leaving her.

So she decided to sleep in for the evening but Tina had plans for her.

"Tina wants you to follow me immediately. She says she has a need for you. She wants you to be ready for your first task as her servant." One of the servant from Tina's house had come to deliver the message to her.

"What could the first task be?" Aurora muttered, clenching her jaw.
