Being Tough

"Alpha Asher!" 

"Alpha Asher, is that you?"

Hearing that again, Elias turned back, shockingly, to look at the person who seemed to know him as an alpha. 

"Tina Wellington! Oh my God!" Elias exclaimed as he saw the owner of the loud voice. 

"Alpha Asher! It's really you, Elias! I wasn't sure you were the one, I just thought to confirm. Wow, It's been like forever since I set my eyes on you. How have you been doing?" Tina asked all smiles. 

"Very well. How about you?" He asked. 

"Very well." She repeated his reply and smiled. 

"Come give me a warm hug first!" Tina requested and engulfed him in a hug before he could say anything. 

"Woah!" Elias grunted as she hugged him tightly. 

"Pardon me, I'm just very excited to see you again. I have missed you so much." She maintained. 

"Right? Same here!" He said, smiling at her. 

She and Elias had firstly met at a pack in another country where she had gone for a fight competition as a pack warrior, and Elias had accompanied his father who was the Alpha then. They were sixteen then. Then, they met again when Elias became the Alpha and was on an assignment. 

"I can't believe we would ever meet outside like this, again!" Elias had exclaimed when he saw her again. 

"Well, my love, I'm a pack warrior. I get to travel all around." She had replied him, sweetly. 

"I'm just disappointed that we aren't mates, you're effortlessly my type! I really wished we were mates." She had bluntly informed him. 

"Oops! We don't have any control over those things. The moon goddess knows best, she determines the best partner for everybody so we shouldn't be disappointed." He had replied her. 

"Well, I'm disappointed, very disappointed!" She had insisted. 

Afterwards, they had hung up and had fun for the period of their stay at the place. 

"Fancy running into you on our territory. What's happening? What are you doing here? Are you here on some pack business? Have you met with our Alpha, yet?" Tina asked him all the questions at once. 

"Woah, where do I start answering from?" Asher said, looking so cool. "But, no, I haven't met with your Alpha because he doesn't even know I'm here, as I am not here for any pack business." He replied. 

"Oh, okay. So, what are you doing here?" She inquired. 

"I'm actually here on a personal basis. Listen, nobody apart you, knows that I'm an Alpha from Silverback pride back and I'd love for it to remain like that, please." He explained to her. 

"Oh, really?" Tina exclaimed, raising an eyebrow. 

"Yes, please. I'm here as a temporary teacher to help keep the job of Mrs Williams, one of my pack members!" He revealed. 

"Well, your secret is securely safe with me. I'm just excited that you are here as my teacher. It's kind of weird but I'm excited. We are going to be together again after this while." She squealed.

"This is actually the period where my career activities will ever make me regret not being around at school for few days! So, Elias has been teaching you guys in my absence?" Tina asked her friends. 

"You know him?" Clara asked with interest. 

"Yes, we're together." Tina stated, all smiles. 

"Together... Can you expatiate on that? What do you mean you guys are together?" Gracie stated, chuckling with mischief. 

"Like real together together or just normal together that isn't really together but just seem like together?" Clara stated, smiling. 

"Girl, you have lost it! What are you even saying? Jeez! I don't understand your diction, it's silly." Tina exclaimed, her eyes twitching with joy. 

"Well, you know and understand what I'm saying, don't pretend. Now, explain that togetherness so we can understand better!" Gracie maintained, with a chuckle. 

"Okay, I understand your drift but I'd rather not comment on that. Simply put, we're together and that's on a period." Tina stated dramatically. 

"Hmmm, keeping it quiet and hidden, aren't you? You cunning girl!" Clara squealed. 

Meanwhile, Aurora and her friend had walked into the classroom and had been hearing all they were saying. 

"They're together? Huh!" Aurora had muttered, much to herself. 

"Oh my God! What did I just hear? Elias and the bitch are together... The temporary teacher that just got here? How? When? Why?" Katie whispered to her friend, with disbelief. 

"Huh! How am I supposed to know the answers you seek for?" Aurora sighed, irritatedly. 

"Well, I thought you would know a thing or two." Katie stated, rolling her eyes. 

"How and why would I know a thing or two concerning the bitch and the teacher?" Aurora said to her friend angrily. 

"Wait, why am I even angry that they are together? How is it any of my business?" She wondered inwardly, getting angry at herself.

"Well, I am just angry. I guess I can be angry without any tangible reason. They shouldn't be together. That's immorality, right?" She mumbled to herself.

"What are you saying?" Katie asked, thinking she was talking to her. 

Instead of replying her friend, Aurora looked over at Tina and hissed loudly. 

"Hey, my love. Come over here!" Tina instructed Aurora as she turned and sighted her. 

"I heard you hissed. If you've got a problem, then we would need to sort it out for you, my love. And I know the perfect way to get any problem sorted out, trust me." Tina stated, her eyes twinkling with mischief. 

"Oh yeah, we've got solution to your problems, here, Alien." Clara added. 

"Not now. Really not now, Tina." Aurora winced, lowly. 

"Things are about to get exciting here. It's actually getting too boring, anyways. Our Alien should come and entertain us." Gracie stated, excitedly and smirked at Aurora. That was enough to hint Aurora of the mischief the girls had up their sleeves. 

"I have had enough of this shit. I'm so done being a pushover. I believe it's high time I show you the tough stuff I am made off." Aurora gritted out and approached Tina's clique menacingly.
