Side Quest
Although temporary, talismans were one of the most useful items for a starter. I could feel the boost in my strength without looking at my [Status Window].
The Elite Goblin in front of me noticed the boost I was experiencing but remained calm and observant. I didn't act rashly and stood still to see what he would do. The two orcs were standing behind the Elite Goblin with fearful looks and didn't make any noise.

Suddenly, a ball appeared from the staff he was holding. By the look of the ball, I quickly realized it was a low-tier [Fire Ball]. Fire Ball was relatively destructive magic, but it lacked speed, so dodging it wasn't hard for me.
I tried to close the distance between me and the goblin to attack him, but he dodged and used [Earth Shield] to block me.

I dodged the attack flawlessly, as I saw it coming. I sliced through the bodies of the orcs easily, thanks to my increased strength stat. I then killed the fearful-looking Elite Goblin with ease.

I felt somehow different, but the feeling wasn't too unknown for me. I touched my face and could feel the happiness from hunting down monsters reflected in the smile that formed on my face. I was scared by it, as it seemed insane, but I brushed it off, knowing nothing would change.
After counting, I got 11 F-grade, and 6 E-grade cores. I placed the cores inside my [Inventory].
I looked at the sword in my hand and said, "Now then, [Appraisal]"

It didn't take me long to find the slimes for the quest, and I handled them pretty easily.

Overall, I got 10 Gold Coins, which wasn't bad at all. I went to a tavern to sleep and hoped for a better future.
The next day was the calmest day since I came into this world. I was too weak to challenge the second planned dungeon, and I didn't want to spend my day grinding weak monsters, so I decided to look around the city instead.
"Hello, how can I help you?" said the Librarian.
"I want to read some books if possible."
"… It's been a long time since someone actually came here to read. Feel free to read as much as you want."
I visited the library while walking around the area. I looked at the bookshelves one by one and began to search for a special book.

Time passed, and I was still at the library, reading many books. I ate all the bread in my inventory, and soon enough, it turned night.

"Thank you. Here is my ID." Free things were always welcome to me. Thankfully, the librarian acted just like he did when I read a lot of books in my past life and offered me a free membership.
After I got my ID recorded, I went back to the tavern to have a calming night. After all, the future, wasn't going to be easy.
