OET's Hideout...

June 12th,

I was beginning to feel weak. I felt like time was going and we weren't making any progress at all. The past few days were filled with us interceding for Brookville and those who had been captured by Kyros' merciless men. Still, I didn't feel we've made any significant progress on the issue.

"Lord, days and weeks have passed by yet, we haven't done anything. What about the confirmation You gave us concerning Your plan to redeem Brookville? How are we going to go about it? What's our first move?" I asked earnestly. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath and tried to focus on God's voice.

"Speak Lord, Your humble servant is listening. " I said. I sat quietly for a while and then He replied me by showing me a vision. I saw a huge mountain surprisingly with a door nestled at its base. As I walked up to it, I saw that it's entrance was guarded with a retinal scan and a fingerprint reader. I didn't know how it happened but the next thing I saw was the cold, dimly lit interior of the building with the emblem of an ouroboros at the top of the door post then I opened my eyes with a start.

Go, For I have given you victory over Kyros and his agents. Behold, I am always with you. I would never leave nor forsake you.

I heard His voice loud and clear in my heart and I was overwhelmed with inexplicable joy and a sense of determination. I felt refreshed and I spent time praying in tongues as I felt the warmth of His lingering embrace.

Thank you, Lord. I'm sorry for ever thinking that You left us. You are indeed faithful.

"But how do we know the way there?" Ray asked.

"I believe that building I saw in my vision is where God wants us to go to first." I said, helping Anaia pack some torches and bottled water.

Yeah, we had a lot of those...I didn't mention more successful trips to the convenience store...

"Look guys, we may not know the way but there's always a story I'll tell anyone that's having troubles with doubting. It's better to trust God, have faith and start a journey that you haven't figured out on your own than to stay put, against God's instruction because you don't know where to go. He already said to 'Go' so, He'll lead us wherever we go. Besides, He's already in control of our mission and all power belongs to Him so, just trust and obey." Anaia said.

Honestly I'm so glad she was able to clear out the doubts that were in the hearts of the others because immediately, we set out. She really is a blessing to our group.

"Y'know, the vision I had was well detailed and I was able to notice some landmarks on my way there. Yes, God deliberately took me from our cave to where the building was. Now I know why." I said, smiling triumphantly as the other thanked God too.

"Let's take this route. It's better. I believe the wolves won't sense us here." Anaia said. We walked and walked then stopped for a break, ate some fruits and continued our journey.

As we climbed the winding road, the trees seemed to close in around us, casting long, ominous shadows on the ground. The structure ahead remained hidden, until we rounded the final bend.

"Aren't we there yet? Gosh! I wished I was more serious with hiking trips at school." Ray said breathlessly as he bent with his both arms on his knees, panting.

"Man up, Ray. C'mon it's almost dusk let's keep going. "Tony said, patting his back as Ray rolled his eyes and joined the rest of us.

The mountain's rugged facade concealed the entrance, a seamless blend of rock and steel that only revealed itself when we were mere feet away.

"Is that it?" Lissa asked, pointing at the mountain as we went nearer.

"Yeah, we made it! "

"Oh thank the Lord! Finally, phew!" Ray said as I laughed.

"Wait! Don't you think anyone is going to be around or something? "Tony asked as Anaia pointed at something.

"Look, it's a security camera."

Oh bummer!
