Couple cooking

"Mother! Mother! Guess who's home!" Mira said as she stepped into the house with Arijit and Brown behind her.

"You look nervous," Brown whispered into his ears and Arijit nodded his head.

"Of course I'll be nervous, have you ever been in this situation?" Arijit whispered back but Brown shook his head.

"I'll be back, I think my mother is in the kitchen," Mira said and they both took their seats.

Mira stepped into the kitchen, and there she found her mother cooking.

"Mother?" Mira called out and Sarla turned to look at her daughter to give a her a hug.

"Oh my dear, I thought Arijit had stolen you away from me," she joked and they both laughed.

"I'm here now. Arijit and Brown are waiting to see you," Mira stated.

"And to whom do I owe this wonderful visit," Sarla murmured and Mira chuckled.

"Give me this, I'll continue." She collected the spoon from her mother and stirred the soup she was preparing.
