Background:

Not much was known about his past as he was suddenly brought in by the previous duke, but it was rumored that he was the child of a demon and his father based on his appearance. Despite the rumor, he was one of the most influential nobles in the kingdom and was talented in the ways of magic, especially a unique and ominous kind of magic. Despite being of old age, he never married or had a child. As the Dukedom of Valahorn was missing an heir, he announced that he would adopt a smart child and raise him as his heir in the future.
