Message from parents

---------------------(Thomas POV)-------- (during the time the MC was passed out)-------------------------

I woke up to a cave again; I thought I would be warm on the Grimm fur. This time I saw that it was just me, Jocelyn, and Amber; I could not see the Grimm near us. It took me a few minutes to see him; he had a huge wound on his shoulder, most of the outside bones were broken, and one of his arms was covered in blood. The blood is not saying much because he was covered in it. I raced over to see if he was okay. When I learned that he was okay, I sighed in relief. Jocelyn and Amber were still sleeping. When I learned that everyone was okay, I got mad. I was mad at myself for not protecting my friends, parents, or even the other villagers. Thinking about everyone, I started to cry. It took me a while to calmed down a little, but when I did, I looked at satchels that the Grimm brought here with us. I knew that I should not hate him for being a Grimm. Walking up to the satchel, I saw a scroll; going through the scroll, I saw a recent save file. Curious, I clicked on it; what I saw was my mother. She said how proud she was of my sister and me. How we should continue being nice to each other, eat our vegetables (I hated them), and that she loved us. The video was going to keep playing, but I decided to wake Jocelyn and Amber.

Waking them up, they both looked around and then started to cry. I knew that they probably had the same thought as me when I first woke up. I tried to comfort them as best as I could. I told them about the video that our parents left us and that we should all watch them together. They both agreed with me, so with that, we got a blanket from the satchel cuddled together, and watched the message our parents left us. When it came to dad`s message, I could not help but look at the Grimm. The wounds on his body; what did he go through for us? How far did he carry us to get here? My dad was right; being with the Grimm was the safest place to be right now. Amber thought it was crazy that we were going to be staying with a Grimm. She was mad, upset, and angry that he was even here with us. I told her that it was because of him that we were alive and safe.

Our argument continued for a while before Jocelyn told us both to shut up. My little sister was two years younger than me, but she could be scary when she was pissed. Amber and I both looked at each other and continued to watch our parents' message. When my dad was done, we got to Uncle James`s video. He told Amber to be strong, not to hate the Grimm that would save her life. He also said that if she dates anyone, it better be with a good guy. We all laughed at that, but I noticed that Amber glanced at me. Once the video was done, we all just sat where we were. It took a few minutes, but I finally got up and said.

"Our parents wanted us to be hunters and huntresses, so; I think we should be just that. We could help all the small villages like ours. If we get strong, we can stop the same thing that happened to our village."

Jocelyn, with a smile on her face, nodded her head. Amber, on the other hand, had a frown on her face and said.

"Who will train us? We do not know where we are, and we do not know how long it will take to get to one of the kingdoms. Not only that, but what academy will we even go to?"

I thought about it and almost immediately had a plan.

"Okay, for the training, why not have the Grimm train us. I mean, who better to teach us how to fight Grimm…than well….a Grimm. We have our scroll, so that will help us a lot. For the academy, why not Beacon. I heard that it was one of the best schools. If we want to be the best, then we need to go to the best school, right?"

"I agree with my brother. Training with Keeva we-"

"Who is Keeva??" Amber and I both asked at the same time

My younger sister laughed at us and said.

"The name of the Grimm."

"I was supposed to name him. I met him first, and Keeva is not a cool name. I was going to name him Super wolf, or killer spike, or-"

"I do not know why we are even naming it. It's a Grimm....that things that attack our village," said Amber, but my sister and I just ignored her.

"Well, I guess for the last name, we can just say Grimm…so Keeva Grimmwolf," I said

The girls both looked at me and did not say anything. What? He looked like a wolf, and he was a Grimm, so Grimmwolf. I thought it was a cool last name. We decided that we should try and learn where we were. It did not take us long to learn that we were still on our continent but in a hilly area right next to the "Dark Area," as my father called it. He said that our village was started a long time ago by people who did not want to be part of the kingdom, and look where that got them. I know that there is a small port town at the very edge, and it has ships that might be able to take us to the Vale kingdom.

The only problem was that it would take us a couple of months to get to the port city, and even if we do get there, how are we going to hide Keeva? We can not just go into a town with him, and if the hunters see him, they will try to kill him. I thought about it and could not think of any ideas. I looked at my sister; she was always smarter than me. Maybe, she had an idea that could help.

"Hey, so….how are we going to hide Keeva?"

They both looked at me and then turned and looked at Keeva. Keeva was a big grim that was at least 15 feet tall. He looked like an alpha beowolf and had….small black wings? I do not remember him having wings? Maybe I overlooked it?

Thinking about trying to hide him was giving all of us a headache. I told the girls that we should go outside the cave, see what is out there, and get a break from thinking about hiding keeva.

About five minutes after we left, we heard keeva call us.
