Runt Of The Litter

Beowulf was of an abnormal size -- he was way smaller than all his siblings and members of their pack-- at least that was what his father thought. As alpha of the Sandulf Pack, Saku Sandulf, sidelined and ostracized Beowulf and his twin sister Salome, making them lonely souls. How would the iron-fisted Saku Sandulf take it when his children start to mix with the humans that he had warned them strictly against? How would he react when he learns that his son's mate is a mere human? It was something unheard of -- a human as a mate. What would happen to the precious Sandulf Pack when betrayal sprouts from within the giant wolves' midst? What would happen between the werewolves and the humans when the proud and haughty sole heir to the human kingdom falls in love with one of the forbidden creatures?

Marmin And Antonio

In the Sandulf settlement, Antonio sat in his room with his fingers intertwined and his hands under his chin. He was in deep thoughts about something as he waited for Marmin. Antonio was upset. Waiting was not his forte and he knew that Marmin was being intentional about what he was doing -- making him wait. Antonio was well aware of the joy that Marmin derived from toying with people and it annoyed him the more that that was what Marmin was doing at that moment. He'd sent for Marmin since he heard Marmin had returned from seeing Beowulf.

At the thought of Beowulf, the frown on Antonio's face deepened and he arose from the bed that he's been sitting on. His fists were baled and tightened as if he was about to punch someone in the face.  Now Antonio could be said to be the largest among Saku's sons. He had the worst temper as well and had the mindset that everything could be settled with fists and battles. Antonio was the one that took after his father.
