Now, in the Sandulf settlement, the alpha's beta was called upon by Saku for a brief meeting with him. There were other packs that Saku had allowed to co-habit with them. However, they still answers to Saku as he was the alpha of the leading pack and stronger than all of the wolves. No one dared to go against Saku's words.

So, his beta came into the hall that Saku used to receive his subjects and also have meetings. The hall had been the same one that Saku had received Beowulf the other day when Luana had interrupted his judgment. He was still angry at his mate because of the way she protects Beowulf all the time. Now, he had called Carlos so that they could talk about the matter at hand and even the battle that they were planning to undergo.

"Saku…" Carlos called as he walked into the place with his head bowed in homage to his alpha.

"Come closer," Saku said.
