The early morning light filtered through the trees, casting dappled shadows on the ground as I made my way to the training grounds. Today was supposed to be a fresh start, another opportunity to prove myself, but the weight of my insecurities pressed heavily on my shoulders. As I walked, my mind wandered to Tasha, my mate, and the tension that had been building between us lately.

Ever since Alaric and Azaria took over as Alpha and Luna, I had struggled to find my place in the pack. I knew Tasha felt it too, her patience stretched thin as she tried to support me while juggling her own responsibilities as Gamma. I couldn't shake the feeling that I was letting her down, that I wasn't living up to the expectations placed upon me.
