Chapter 36

She watched him put on another tuxedo and arranged his required files, laptop,  and phone. He hadn't said a word to her since morning and this had her feeling worried. What had she done this time around?!

Meanwhile, Matt was downstairs making breakfast. He had prepared some fried eggs and toasted bread as that was the fastest he could think of while shuffling from preparing for work and setting the dining table for his boss's breakfast. On meeting Braxton downstairs earlier that morning, he had gone up and gotten ready after which he had gone back down to arrange their food.
