Chapter 8

Sunday 11:23am 18 April 2017

I woke up and I checked my phone and it was 11:23am.I must have slept in,hell when was the last time I did that.And aswell as an reply from my dad and a message from Zane.

Zane

'Hope you're alright just be safe.'

I was shocked reading the reply from Zane.I mean not everyone is that heartless I guess.

I got up and began to make the bed.

"Room service."a Voice said,sounding like it came from the door.I walked to the door to greet the cleaner.

"Good morning."I greeted with a yawn and the cleaner was...blushing?Why was she blushing?

"G-Good moring sir."She stuttered.Her eyes were looking at my chest,I look down and realize why.I am shirtless....

"Shit I am sorry this is embarrassing."I said clearly embarrassed.

"I-it's alright."she said shyly.I then took a new shirt out my bag put it on and went back to the door.

"Sorry about that."I said scratching my neck in embarrassment.

"It's ok,did you leave a mess?"She asked with furrowed eyebrows.

"Nope,you don't even need to clean."I replied smugly and she gave me a galnce and a smile of a small thanks.My mom told me to always make the bed,even if it's not mine.

I then went down the stairs to pay for the night and hit the road once again,I had about more 3 miles to go,I was nearly there.

The receptionist greeted me with a smile,someone was cleerly in a good mood.

"Moring sir I would like to thank you."He said more cheerful.Wonder why he was so cheerful?

"Moring and for what if I may ask?"I asked confused.What is he talking about?I mean as far as I know I didn't commit any good deeds today.

"For not making Dorothy clean to much today."He said and gave me a smile.Ooooooh the room service lady that saw me shirtless,well that's both good and embarrassing.

"Oh well I do clean myself so it's no problem."I said...wait was that pride in my voice?

"Well because of that I give ya 10% off you're room cost."He said and passed me the bill.

"Wow really 70 bucks?"I asked thinking it would be waaaaay more expensive.

"Well you didn't buy any lunches or anything so yeah you got the cheapest."He explained as I gave him the cash.

"Thanks sir have a fantastic day."I said and exited the lodge,he then nodded at that goodbye again.Guess they just nod as a your welcome.

Time to get back on the road.

12:22am

After a 2 hour drive I saw a sign saying."RAVENS UP AHEAD IN 2 MILES"I was really close now.

Time for that fresh start.A new beginning.
