Melanie couldn't do it anymore. The pack was too much for her. Melanie was finally going to do something that she should have done a long ass time ago. As she ran up, the stairs she passed by the pack photo. A sad smile appeared on Melanie's lips. There, in the middle of the picture, was Lilac Thomas. Melanie's best friend. She didn't want to leave Lilac, but Melanie had to go. She was at her final straw. The pack finally broke her, broke her to the point of no return. She was tired of everything. For eight years, now, she was abused. For eight years now, she was just a punching bag for the pack, just a nobody. Melanie thought to be nothing. Finally, Melanie chose to leave.

Tears were streaming down her face as she wrote out a note. She was putting her heart into it. Melanie wanted Lilac to know she was not the reason she was leaving. Melanie wanted Lilac to know she was coming back here for her. Later on, though, but for now, Melanie was hoping Lilac could be strong without her. Melanie quickly wrote out another note to the pack, putting no effort into it at all. She knew it was a long shot. They probably wouldn't even read it. However, she left one anyways.

Dear pack,

Hopefully, at this point, I am no longer in the territory and long gone. Fingers crossed, I will never see any of you people again in my life. You people took my life away. That is not exaggerating in any way. I thought all this would go away as soon as I found my mate, but in the end, nothing changed. Speaking of mate, you are probably reading. You are the worst person on the earth, I hope you never find me, and if you do, I will accept the rejection cause right now, I cannot do that to my wolf. See you later, ass whole.

Bye Bitches

Melanie grabbed her full backpack leaving one note on Lilac's bed and the other on the table next to the door. Where the pack members will all see, and maybe they will read it. Melanie opened the door and took a step out, then another and another. Eventually, she was running, running away from all the shit and abuse. And there was no turning back. Melanie was finally running free.
