Chapter 3

I felt warm and comfy. My body is wrapped up in the sheets and I am wearing my favourite pj's. When I went to sleep I was still in my clothes and my bed was nicely made.

There is a note on my nightside.

'I was going to ask you what you wanted for supper but you had already fallen asleep. Your clothes from yesterday are in the wash with the rest of your dirty clothes. I put you into your favourite pj's and put you under the covers. You were so cute when I was tucking you in. You grabbed my arm and tried to get me to snuggle with you. I went out and bought you some Krave for breakfast. I also left a surprise on the table. Love Katie.'

I felt my cheeks get so red. Katie saw me naked.

The floor is usually cold in the mornings but Katie put socks on me so my feet were nice and warm.

After breakfast, I quickly rushed to the bathroom and vomited it all out. Today I don't have to worry about putting on music because Katie left for work 2 hours ago. Katie said she left me a surprise on the table so I walked over there and saw a bag with my name on it.

'Maria. To the best person in the world'

I opened the bag and gasped. There are two bags of popcorn, a fuzzy blanket big enough for two and a new movie I've been wanting to see, Clouds. In the bottom, there was another note.

'Will you, as my best friend, watch this movie with me after work?'

I got a little sad that it wasn't going to be a date. But I know that we will enjoy it.

After Work

Katie came home and started to make supper.

"Thank's for tucking me in last night."

"You looked cold when I came in."

"I also liked the gifts that were on the table. And yes, I will watch the movie with you."

"Yesss!"

She walked over to me and gave me a big hug. She smelled like vanilla and her sweater was so warm against my body.

"Ok. You can let go. The food's going to get burnt."

"Oh. Sorry."

I let go and she chuckled.

After Supper

"You get the movie ready while I go to the bathroom first."

I walked to the bathroom and immediately slapped myself. I forgot to grab my music. I guess the movie will muffle the noise.

When I stood up off the ground, I got dizzy. Shaking it off I ran the tap and started to wash my hands. I was about to open the door when my vision went blurry and everything went black.
