Rise of the Viking warrior

In a farm house there lays a Viking warrior and farmer in his 30s his name is Olaf Hadarsson now came a woman who woke up the warrior "wake up" said Astrid 'Olaf wake up,remember today is the day that that our son will get his arm ring'(that is when Olaf opens his eyes and starts getting up while grunting)'Astrid I know the trip will take only a day and I am still early' said Olaf 'I don't want to have my son late to the to the ceremony, he already missed the last one last year because of your need to be lazy while other boys his age have their arm rings' Astrid said 'I can't wait to bind my son to the man who has been insulting my dream of traveling the west' said Olaf 'well dear if there are lands to the west am sure you will find it and I will make a sacrifice of the the goat to the gods in the hopes you will succeed' said Astrid ' where is Sigurd we should start the journey soon' said Olaf as he gets up and puts on his fur coat and leather pants and puts his sword in its sheath ' Sigurd my boy get ready we need to go,it's time for you to get your arm ring,it's time for you to become a man,the journey to the jarl's ceremony will take time have you packed everything we need for the journey' said Olaf 'yes father I have been ready for awhile it's you who has been sleeping and I also got my own sword packed' said Sigurd. And so began the journey of loaf and his son to the ceremony and they journeyed through out the day before stopping and making camp for the night 'father how did you and mom fall in love' asked Sigurd as they were eating on the fish being cooked on the camp fire 'I saw your mother and decided to confess and ask her had in marriage but her father wanted me to prove myself so I went out and fought with a bear much large than a myself and with my bare hands was able to strangle the bear and give it to her father who gave his blessing to my confession and after marriage of your mother' replied Olaf 'are you ready to be a man' Olaf asked 'yes' the boy replied 'and what does a man do' asked Olaf 'he fights and protects his family' replied Sigurd 'will you be able to look after our family' ask Olaf with a serious expression 'what do you mean by that' asked Sigurd 'say I wasn't there you will have to make a lot of decisions Sigurd and maybe a even have a destiny that is greater than my self and a lot of things will change based on my decision but for know how to sleep tomorrow will be a big day' said Olaf
