Night run

After pulling her Seraphina left staring at Jack.

'Sit" he said in a child tone and she swallowed deeply as she sat and he served her food then sat beside her and she smiled nervously.

"What is up with you?" she asked and he smiled wickedly.

'Did I scare you?" he asked and she frowned then his eyes widened and he placed his head on her shoulder and she looked at him.

'Sorry, eat up, trust me you will need energy" he said and she smiled.

'Thank you" she replied as she began eating and he sighed in relief as he looked at her.

"You seem hungry, want me to get you more food?" he asked and she smiled.

"Nope I am good" she responded and he smiled then she poured herself a glass of wine and drank it.

"Oh Seraphina are you ready for your first match?" he asked and she looked down and folded her cuffs.

"I am not sure about that, though I am willing to put my skills to the test for the very first time" she responded and he smiled.

'I am glad you are at least ready because these matches are going to be bad and hard your opponents are not going to hold back, after tomorrow night I think we will be leaving to another kingdom, I am not sure, something is undecided so we will wait" he said and she sighed.

"Yeah undecided when these things are concerned? understood that's for sure" she replied and he scoffed.

"You are lucky you got the prince by your side, it's not something that is easily achieved you know," he said and she smiled.

"You are right, anyways I am done, eating and also I am not feeling that great, so I think I will skip training, no need for that tomorrow morning, I want to stay in bed a little," she said as she got up and he smiled then grabbed her by the arm and she looked at him as he smiled.

"Good night," she said.

"Good night" he replied as she walked away and he left staring at her then he left and she went to her room and locked the door behind her as she took her gloves off then tied her hair up in a bun and went out into the balcony and her eyes glowed as she jumped off of the balcony and looked at the hills behind the academy and smiled as she jumped over the lake and ran to the hill with speed then jumped over a river and finally up the hill the girl was.

'Feels good to have a little run" she said as she looked up at the night sky and smiled.

'I wonder how everything is back home" she said to herself as she sat on the soft grass looking down at the academy and smiled.

"I never thought that I would be able to fit in or even make friends, I was wrong, it's nice here and so are many of the people," she said to herself with a sigh.

After a little while of sitting there annoying the fresh air, the girl ran back to the academy and jumped up into her academy and sighed as she closed the balcony door, fixed the curtain, and went to freshen up.

"While taking her bath she looked at the mark on her chest as it glowed bright red and she frowned as the water ran down her curves.

When she finished she got changed it into a short nightdress and went to get some rest.

The next morning it was getting late and she was sleeping so someone came knocking at her door and she opened her eyes and while being half asleep she opened the door and someone grabbed her by the arm as he came into the room and locked the door then she looked and wiped her eyes as the person stared at her and then her eyes widened as she saw it was the prince and he was staring at her.

"Your... highnesss' she said as she pulled the blanket off of the bed and wrapped herself in it then he scoffed and sat down on the couch while looking at her.

"Is today uh.. what your special day off? did I day you can be late? sleep in? take the day off?" he asked and she dowed her head then he sighed.

"Sorry, your highness... I would rather not train today, my body is not up for it" she said in a soft tone with a frown as he looked at her sternly and she folded her cuffs.

"You are very infuriating, damn it... before I lose my cool what is this? a girl thing?" he asked and she looked at him.

"You can say that your highness, either way, I would like to sleep a little more please," she said and he sighed.

'This is such a waste of my time, though I understand you can get your rest, and what's with the dark curtains in here, let a little light in" he said.

'No let it be like that please" she replied as he looked at her then smiled.

'You don't have to say please, it's your room which means it's your bloody choice, you are too easy" he said and she smiled.

'I will see you at the arena tonight then or maybe I will just bring you your news and if we will be leaving, sleep well Seraphina" he said then opened the door.

'Your highness" she called out and he looked at her.

'What is it?" he asked and she smiled slightly.

"Thank you" she responded and he scoffed.

"You are welcome, see ya," he said then walked put and she shoved in the door then sighed.

'I have not been getting enough sleep due to being in a hassle, nothing wrong with sleeping in" she said as she got back into bed and smiled as she closed her eyes and remembered the prince's look on his face and her eyes widened as she frowned.
