Long story short, in the process of running out and crying my eyes out, I got hit by a car.
It had all happened so fast and the last thing I could remember before I passed out was my head feeling like a nail had been pierced through it and then people gathering around me to help.
Now I woke up only to find myself staring at Kaene's back, causing me to squint my eyes in confusion.
"Kaene?" I blurted out, the memories of everything that happened before the accident flooding my mind.

Hope.
All I could feel at that moment was an overwhelming surge of hope in me thanks to the way he looked at me.
