Just when I was contemplating striking the Lycan with a spell that could eat up his organs from the inside, the Gamma stepped forward and held him back.
"Davos, what are you doing?" He queried with a low tone, glancing at me apologetically. "Forgive the Lycan's outburst, Beta Negan. It's just... Tensions are high right now and everyone is on edge."
I stared at the duo for a while before harrumphing. "On edge? Even more than the Alpha and Luna who this whole mess actually affects?"
The Gamma remained speechless though I could see the annoyance in his eyes.
Yeah, I think I'm done with this lot.
"Good night, gentlemen. I'm retiring for the night." I yawned, placing my hand in front of my face. "After all, some men have better things to attend to other than meaningless gossip."
I could sense the anger from the Lycan, but I'd already walked past them.
It seemed I had one new person to add to my list.
