Negan finally came back to his senses as he stepped away from me, turning his gaze to my door as the knocking came again.
I panicked, my eyes scanning the suite as if there was a secret door somewhere until I remembered how the Beta got in here in the first place.
"The window!" I placed my hand on his shoulder, urging him to move toward the one he'd entered my suite from.
To my surprise, however, he dashed toward it with a speed that seemed faster than your average werewolf before jumping down from it.
I blinked stupidly, but another knock on my door brought me back to reality.
"Ugh, for the love of the Moon! I'm coming." I grumbled, heading to the door.
However, before I could reach it, the door burst open and former Luna Catherine stepped in with a frown on her face.
Shit.
"Who are you using that tone on?" She queried contemptuously, eyeing me in the same manner.
