Chapter 81: Turning 18
Matthew couldn't believe how fast time had flown by. It seemed like just yesterday he was a 16-year-old kid making his debut for Birmingham City FC. Now, he was just a few weeks away from turning 18.
As he lay in bed, Matthew thought about all the changes that had taken place in his life over the past two years. He had gone from a young prospect to a regular starter for his club, and had even won the U-18 World Cup with his country. He had grown up so much, both on and off the pitch.
