Situation

The sound of the gunfire finally started to bring some hope to their lost and broken souls. Their screams of happiness resonated throughout the whole school while desperately trying to get their attention.

" Jason that was definitely the sound of gunfire, which means we are finally saved, " yelled out a random NPC while the screams of the happy survivors echoed in the background.

This sudden moment of happiness stopped their brains from thinking clearly, but they didn't care about the consequences at this moment, this was a joyous day for all of them. However, the thought of this not being the rescue team they hoped for never came to mind.

If one were to listen carefully, they would hear the sound of nine guns being used and each shot resulted in the sound of a falling body. It took no philosopher to conclude this team was under a powerful force because of how coordinated their team was.

But it could be debated if they intended to leave with all the remaining survivors or just one person in particular.

As the ruckus continued, the elite force started to come closer to the auditorium like how a bee is attracted to a flower and of course, the noise was also like a dinner bell for all the undead.

Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud!

Thud! Thud!

The undead started to pile up on the door like how fly's hover over cow dung, it was utter chaos.

As the door started to creak under the pressure of the undead wave, it forced all their happy thoughts to settle down. The thought of finally being free from this miserable room clouded their minds of being able to think with clarity. This small yet dumb mistake might cost a few of their lives.

All suddenly became silent, settling down from their small moment of happiness, everyone started to discuss with Liam their next course of action. With his time with everyone around him, he won over most of the survivors with his intellect and his leadership. Thanks to his skills, the causality rate was greatly reduced.

Even if he chose not to share any of his winnings, everyone gradually started to understand why he made such decisions even if it may have hurt the feelings of many.

However, many never took a liking to him after they lost some close friends during their operation of secure food, they never felt like having their faith in him after that, which cost them their lives.

In Liam's previous life, he made many grave mistakes and one of them included not making a better bond with Emilia. If he had done so, he could've received several benefits, such as leaving the island earlier than Cannon.

Previously he was stuck on the island for more than a year because the marine life became too dangerous due to the awakening, which caused mass mutation across the globe.

While others became stronger using their new profound talents, he was left behind in the dust because he had no available resources that his talent heavily depended on. Not to mention it went against his morals.

If used correctly he could've become a formidable foe, but fate had other plans for him.

" There are too many of them at the door, we have to lead them somewhere else, we can't afford to use more ammunition than we already have" whispered a muscular man with brown hair called Mateo towards his companions while hiding behind a corner.

Mateo is a 32-year-old man who holds the current position of squad leader of an Elite unit. He is renowned for his remarkable marksmanship and a hundred percent success rate on every mission he took.

All his enemies referred to him as the Red Death because every time he left for a battle, blood, and death were guaranteed to ensue in his trail.

"Number two you're up," he silently whispered to the man behind him.

Notice!

Guys, I know there are several mistakes that I made during my time as a new author. So, I plan on recreating this novel because any change I make, might or might not affect the story but don't worry I plan to do so when I finish the first volume.
