Looking over at them Vayu sighs, "So you know the future so why me specifically? I am not the strongest, I am not the brightest."
"Cause you, damn can't tell you," Eva pouts.
"There are certain things that without us, you and your siblings won't be able to do. However," Looking down Vita shakes her head.
Amelia chuckles, "The Drakes are to rise. From the ashes of war they arise and destroy the church in one fell swoop. The deserters of family will fall along side the church."
"What in the world is any of that supposed to mean at all? All you diviners are so damn tricky to get straight answers from," Vayu sighs with a small stomp.
Looking at him they chuckle. Shaking his head, "So what good are those points?"
"For now they are very thing for us. Even after leaving the school in eight years they will have a purpose. Every deficit is a huge lose," Amelia says with a look up into the sky.
"Those who lost 100 or more points will come to understand their mistake," Vita mentions with a triumphant look.
"You want to gain as many as possible and lose as few as possible," Eva looks at him.
"Do you realize how little what you have said explains? So what is wrong with my parents?"
"Dont fret over that just yet," Amelia says.
"From within the mindscape one is trapped, suffering from an ailment is another. One besieged daily holds out. The last founder of the Drakes is captured enduring torture and temptation," Eva says with a saddened look.
"Who are these drake's you speak of constantly like they are some important people?" He curls his fist.
"All we be found out in due time. There is only so much that can be said without us being harmed," she looks up at the sky and sighs in relief.
Soon the skies above them start to darken. Shaking their heads, "Our time is up apparently. Till another time Vayu," Vita has a pained tone.
They walk away from Vayu. They pick up the pace. As he follows them Amelia asks, "Why does he have to ask so many questions?"
"Cause that is how he is. Eventually he will understand our predicament," she looks behind them and sees him, "We've got to speed up. Being struck by lightning once is bad enough."
Nodding their heads, they split up. Watching them split up he sighs, 'how do I keep up with them at this rate. I can only follow one at a time. I'll lose track of the other two.'
Shaking his head he follows one of them. Looking behind her, Amelia shakes her head. 'He asks to many questions at once. If he could just understand the plight that such high level diviners actually face. It isn't that we don't want to give direct answers. We can't without paying some sort of price.'
Following her through the crowds, Vayu starts to lose track of her. As she sees this she smiles, 'well at least he will figure out how to use mana. But this is gonna make it more difficult on us.'
As she gets further and further from him, he tries to speed up. After several minutes of running he hadn't been able to close the distance at all. 'How am I to close this distance? There has to be a way. Wait I just need to stimulate one of the cores."
Forcing one of the cores to rotate faster he guides the mana to his feet. Moving forward a step he is aghast by his new found speed. Speeding forward he slowly closes the distance. With a sigh he thinks, 'she is fast. Is she even utilizing mana yet. Are the other two just as fast? Perhaps there is something I am missing.'
Looking behind her she smiles at him. Picking up the speed she manages to escape his view. With a sigh he thinks, 'she didn't use mana before. she is far more experienced with the mana. Might be because of seeing the future. Doesn't matter. I've got to figure out a way to catch up. But how can I do so?"
Without the guidance to his feet the mana brings him to a place that all he feels is wind. Looking around he can see vague outlines of people and objects through all the wind. Unable to hear anything over the howling wind he wonders where he is he moves around.
With his first few steps he notices that he moved way further then he's used to. Taking another short step he finds himself ten ft further ahead than he should be. Not understanding why this is the case. He walks around. Eventually he turns around and feels the wind push him around faster.
Smiling he walks back towards his house. Stopping the mana flow he can clearly see his house once again. Garth looking at him says, "Ah you found that area already. Your grandfather would be so proud of you. Also very excited to start teaching you the intricacies of the wind area."
"Garth what actually happened to him and our parents then? Shouldn't we at least find out?"
"Vayu one day you will find out. But with how Amber is she would get themselves killed if she found out now. You all are no where near strong enough to save them sadly. Just keep working hard like you always do."
Shaking his head Vayu goes back into the wind place. 'The wind howls loudly here, but that doesn't mean I can't hear others at all. However do I do so though? That is the biggest question at the moment.'
Thinking about that he moves forward. As he sprints through the wind, he notices someone standing still in the wind that he can clearly see. He goes back the other way in an attempt to avoid the person.
Not sure why the person would stand there in the wind like that, he decides to ignore the person and go around them. Looking at Vayu leave the person smiles, 'he is just like those three said he was. Damn diviners and their ways. He could be the one though.' At the end of the thought he speeds through the wind and arrives in front of Vayu.
