A few minutes after they left the alley, Raphael, Bane, and Devon made it back to the dormitory.
"Ahh… I'm so exhausted." Bane exclaimed, and then fell on the couch.
Devon stared at Bane, who was laying on the couch, and said, "Aren't you going to go prepare, the tournament starts in two days."
Bane shook his head.
"I know." He replied. "But, I'm not some robot or toy, I need to rest for a while, or I might as well just collapse during the tournament."
Devon wanted to retort to what Bane had just said, but instead, he let out a yawn.
"You see, even you're exhausted. Man, go have some rest, we will get into action later." Bane said.
"Do you know that over one hundred thousand people die a year from stress? I want to avoid being one of them, so I will do what I can do, and relax."
This time around, Devon was left speechless from what he had just heard. Bane wasn't bluffing by the number of death that occur due to stress, and it was what shocked Devon the most.
