Kalypso couldn't help but panic since Damien had completely stopped moving, his expression frozen. If she didn't know any better, she would have thought that his soul was destroyed and what was left behind was just an empty shell.
"It's Yohr's Origin Seed's self-defense mechanism that got triggered…A soul manifestation from within. That sly, cunning thing was too cautious, but I didn't think that it would still get triggered if he willingly gave it. It seemed as if he didn't even trust himself. What a bastard…" Luna had known about this mechanism, but she didn't pay it any mind since she was going to make Yohr give it away 'willingly', but only now she realized that it was a mistake to not have taken the extra effort to save some energy.
