Test (3)

Every year, Vitikos sends a few of their volunteer students to scout for other students. Which planet they will receive is completely randomized and left up to chance. Of course, each volunteer can only bring in 3 recruits with only one week to find those three, else they would just bring as many kids as they can and leave things to chance. You could also trade off with other students, though that was highly unlikely as most students diligently pick those recruits.

This was the reason why Alden was here in this planet where the civilization seemed to resemble that of medieval Europe. So it was a surprise to see a black haired and dark brown eyes youth enter his 'cabin'. Judging from the tattered clothes to the smudges on his face, he was no doubt a street rat. Alden could easily guess the reason why. Superstition was still strong in these times after all, he was probably thought a devil or the likes.

"A street rat?" these words escaped his lips without his watch, yet the child in front of him didn't seem to take offense. If it weren't for his blinking eyes and the fact that he walked in here a few moments ago, Alden really would've thought that he was a statue.

After asking him a series of questions, to which the child looked befuddled, Alden smiled. The questions he asked were indeed a bit useless. All he needed to know was how much potential this boy had.

He turned on his device and a three-panel window opened up. The device started to scan the boy, giving otherwise elusive information.

[Potential: 99%

Status: Malnurished

Complications: Facial Paralysis

Name: Unknown

-=========

Age: 7

Gender: Female]

Due to impatience, Alden only scanned the first row, which held the potential percentage. He ignored the rest of the information, which to him was inconsequential. It was like this that the little 'boy' was able to sneak into the academy.

"Well then," Alden said with a bright smile of self-interest, "follow me."

"Follow me," the strange man said, standing up to walk towards the back of the small cabin. He truly was a strange man, why walk towards a wall?

Yet who was I to question anything? I am but a street rat, what rich people had up their sleeves was only known to them.

Scurrying after him, I didn't question when the man walked through the walls. Only, standing in front of the walls, I hesitated.

I stretched my hand out first, making sure that I could really go through the wall. Seeing my hand disappear, I hurriedly stepped through less the man forget I was there and left me here.
