Jade and I went to the hospital room Nate texted me and I remember this hospital when I did my practice here for several months before I was hired by Southern Cali. Hospital. Those were fun times, I learned a lot and I... OMG, Lisa?. Lisa, hi!, I called one of the nurses talking with one of her colleagues at the nurses' station near dad's room, while walking towards and stood beside her. Oh, hi???, Oh, my God, Megan?, Meg, how are you?, Lisa exclaimed really happy to see me. Yeah, I'm good and you?

I am far from good, just appointed as Head of the Nurse Department a couple of weeks ago, haha!, Lisa said bragging. So, how's your practice?, have you continued to become a doctor, cause then you were thinking so much of that girl, ah, what was her name again, ah, yes Jade or something, right?, Lisa added not thinking and minding of the other girl beside Meg. Meg was trying to stop her by giving her a gesture that the girl she's talking about is beside her.

Yes, I know, I just love her so much that's why I thought of her then, and speaking of that girl, meet Jade!, Jade, this is my middle-aged best buddy during my practice days in the emergency room here at St. Thomas, Lisa. Lisa, I give you my one and only love, Jade, I said giving Jade a beautiful introduction to forget about what Lisa said a while ago about her. Oh, yes, Jade, it's a pleasure to meet you dear!, Lisa cried completely changing the subject and shaking Jade's hand then hugging her just the same. Lisa winked at me when she realized that Jade is truly pretty and Meg is lucky to have her.

Thank you, Lisa, I'm glad to meet Meg's friends, Jade smiling and hugging Lisa back. And yes ma'am I'm a licensed OB-Gyne doctor and loving it every single day especially when I needed to check on those p..., Meg said plainly when Jade shut her mouth saying the woman's private part. Yup, we always see those here, your hospital is no different, Lisa bragged and laughed. Jade and Meg laughed with her since it was meant to be a joke, right?. Right!.

Nate walked towards Meg and kissed her asking how was our trip. And I introduced Jade to him, which he was kind enough to hug and kiss my girlfriend as well. Jade smiled and hugged Nate back. Nate said that he remembers Jade back when I was still in grade school. Especially when she visited us when her girlfriend Janine came to visit Ocean View.

Jade held Nate's arm and both walked before me to Gin's room. I looked at both of my family and Lisa gave me a hard nudge on the arm. Oww!, Lisa, you bitch, that hurts. Wow!, so you got the girl this time, she's a cutie, congratulations, you survived the practicum and became a doctor. I'm proud of you!, hehe, Lisa added putting her arm around me and unfixing my neat her just like the old days. Oh, man, my baby is now a daddy haha, I mean a mature lady and a wonderful doctor. I'm proud of you, babe!, Lisa said in sincerity and kissed me on the cheek and hugged me again, this time tight and full of love. I hugged her tight too since I've missed her.

She was like my second mom when I was doing my practice and it was a blast when I remember the crazy times we got drunk or the times when she saw me with a girl making out at the doctor's sleeping quarters. Haha, those were the days, and well. I've changed and been responsible with my actions ever since. Jessica, yeah, I know, she resigned after you got transferred to Southern and I heard she married a business tycoon. She has a kid and living her days in Malibu or what I have heard. Wow!, she found the right person to give her everything she needs, I'm happy for her, I said a bit emotional about the topic because Jessica was the first girl I fell in love with after Jade went away to study in London. She made me feel and love again. But I guess, we aren't meant to be, because I'm with Jade now, I thought while Lisa kept on telling Jessica's story.

Actually she was here a couple of days ago and asked about you, she gave me her number and if you...., Lisa said handing me a small piece of paper. Yeah, well, it's good she is happy now, I'll keep this just for old times sake and if I wanted to talk to her about the past, I added smiling at the woman who just gave me a frown and laugh. You still love her don't you, you were just hurt Meg, it's natural.

I know but she didn't have to tell it to my face that I was younger, broke and just starting my career as a doctor. Now I have everything I need and my woman, I don't need to delve into the past when I wanted to forget it and move on. And I moved on, Lisa, I just pray that she is indeed happy with her life now, I explained firmly. I think she isn't, she told me that she and her husband is having some marital issues and filing a divorce, Lisa replied sounding concerned. She is our friend Meg and I know you still care for her, so just talk to her and you know, I understand you moved on but I think Jessica hasn't and she just wanted apologize so give her a chance. Alright, kiddo, I didn't teach you to hate and hold on grudges, right?, Lisa said shedding light to the conversation that hit something in Meg's heart. Yeah, okay, mom, I'll call her then, I love you, see you around, and keep safe, alright!, I said hugging Lisa again. Lisa hugged and kissed me on the forehead this time and walked to a patient's room on the right side of the nurse's station.

Hi, are you okay!, Jade asked when I opened dad's room. Yes, babe, I'm fine, just a bit of a jetlag I think, I'm really hungry too, hehe!, I added lying since I just felt weak thinking about Jessica and the past which I didn't really want to face now, not at this time, not yet.

Okay, I'll get some food, there are fruits and I think pizza that Nate ordered earlier. I'll check at the vending machine or the cafeteria here, Jade added smiling. No, babe, pizza is alright with me, besides we're both tired of the flight. Thanks, mwah!, I replied kissing Jade on the lips. Jade smiled too but she felt something wrong and she doesn't want to tackle the issue now since Meg is tired and hungry, maybe some other time. Hi, dad, I missed you, Meg said while running towards Gin seating upright on his hospital bed looking fresh and healthy than the last time she saw him a couple of weeks before. Jade approached Alexa and the woman hugged her and kissed her on the cheek as sort of welcoming her to the family. Gin asked Jade to come near him to hug him with Meg. Gin is so happy that he couldn't ask for anything from God but a continued good health for him and his family.
