"Raikage-sama! Don't be rash!"

"If you crush their heads and they can't recover, we won't be able to get any information about Kirabi-sama!"

C and Darui's shouts reached Raikage's ears.

Just as his fists were about to strike the two heads, Raikage seemed to restrain his urge and instead used his Lightning Release: Lariat.

"Slash!"

With a swift motion, both Hidan and Kakuzu's heads were severed from their bodies.

"Decapitated. Let's see how much trouble you can cause now!"

Raikage held a head in each hand, his expression fierce.

As he suspected, even decapitation wouldn't kill these two.

Hidan grimaced in pain and yelled, "Ouch! It hurts, it hurts! Damn it, I'll make you feel this pain too, you black brute! Hey, Kakuzu, think of something!"

"Shut up! Just shut up, Hidan!" Kakuzu retorted angrily. "This time, we're out of luck!"

Despite his words, the black threads in Kakuzu's neck were already writhing silently.

If Raikage let his guard down, Kakuzu would immediately reconnect his head with his body, giving him a chance at survival.

However, Raikage seemed to have seen through Kakuzu's plan.

Raikage had observed clearly in their previous battles that the black threads within Kakuzu's body allowed him to extend and retract his limbs.

If he could do this with his limbs, it wasn't impossible with his head either.

"C, Darui! Watch their bodies closely. When the support team arrives, have a sealing jutsu user seal their bodies forever!"

"Got it, boss," Darui nodded.

"Understood." Raikage sat on a large rock, placing Kakuzu's and Hidan's heads at his feet. In a cold voice, he demanded:

Hidan, fearless and defiant, mocked, "Hmph! Big black brute, dream on! Your brother is probably dead by now, hahaha!"

"You two brothers are alike, both stupid looking!"

Raikage's barely restrained fury erupted at Hidan's provocation. "Damn you! Not talking, huh? Then you'll never speak again!"

He grabbed Hidan's head, preparing to crush it with his powerful hands.

At that moment, the Cloud's support team arrived.

Their leader, Frai, shouted in panic, "Raikage-sama! Urgent news!"

"Not just us, jinchuriki from other nations have also been captured and are missing!"

"What?" Raikage was startled. He suddenly realized something and turned to Hidan's head. "So your targets are all the jinchuriki!"

He wanted to ask more, but knew that force wouldn't get any useful information from Kakuzu and Hidan.

"Frai, you said some jinchuriki haven't been captured yet. Which ones?"

Frai immediately responded, "We haven't received any reports from Konoha and the Hidden Mist yet!"

"Hmm..." Raikage pondered for a moment. "That likely means these guys haven't had the chance to act yet, but it's only a matter of time!"

"Hurry, send a message to the Hokage of Konoha. Tell them I want to cooperate!"

"What?" Everyone was stunned.

Initiating cooperation with another nation was something the proud Raikage would never usually propose.

"Don't just stand there! Time is of the essence! For my brother, we can't afford to waste time!"

"I remember the Yamanaka clan in Konoha has a secret technique that can probe all the information in a target's mind!"
