REVENGE-Chapter 5~Childhood friend

As I was awoken from the short sleep that I had by the sunrise, I thanked the supreme being for bringing me this far. I got up from my sleep in anger as always since I have a mission to accomplish. I went to the bathroom to take a shower and later dressed up myself. I combed my black curly hair and headed to the ranch to work. I decided not to work but I realized that I had to since after the mission I will own the place to myself. As I was working,I heard a call from Mrs Gabriella. She told me to accompany her to the airport since she had to meet her in-laws. I was shocked when I heard that. I didn't know what was happening to me but I realized that it was jealousy. I couldn't believe myself. Mrs Gabriella and I reached the Los Angeles airport for her in-laws. I saw a beautiful old woman just as the age of my late mother with his son who was wearing a white T-shirt with a blue jeans and a white sneakers. I remembered my childhood when I was bought anything I asked for including pets. The young man who was in those nice clothing and her mother approached us. I realized that they were Mrs Gabriella's in-laws. Mrs Gabriella introduced Mrs Gina her best friend and his son Eric Lionel to me. I was so surprised to see Eric my childhood best friend but was also a bit disappointed because he was going to marry Skylar. We headed to the ranch and i got a quick nap. I woke up the next morning for work. When I went to the mansion to inform Mrs Gabriella what had happened at the ranch I saw Eric and Skylar busily chatting and laughing. I became hurt. Mrs Gabriella arrived at the scene and asked me what I was doing there. I told her what I was supposed to. I later joined Eric and Skylar in which they welcomed me warmly. I thought Eric will ignore me a stranger but spoke to me. I was happy to get close to my childhood best friend but also hurt to get close to him as a new person. He couldn't recognize me since I left the city at a very tender age. Skylar went to get a cold drink for us and I used the opportunity to get to know Eric once again.
