"I can't believe that my Julia is all grown up"

"Stop saying it like that, you sound like my mom"

"And he actually took you to your place and made you coffee in bed?"

"mhmm"

"You never told me he was that romantic. I wanna meet him."

"Woah slow down. No one is meeting anyone."

"Do you have his number? Has he already asked you on a date yet?"

Shit that's when I realized that I have no ways to contact him. How could I be so stupid? Wait so even he doesn't have my contact so this must have crossed his mind too. I'm sure the look on my face says it all cause Emma's already comforting me.

"Don't worry I'll find him for you! Just give me his name and any other small information you know about him. I'll use my social skills to find him."

From what I remember, he offered to give me a ride but I refused caused I know I have already troubled him enough. He lived far, near the outskirts of the city. Of course it was expensive to call a cab so I took a local bus which then stopped near my school and I walked straight to Emma's place.

I thank her and give her a hug. I'm glad I have her.

It's been two days since the best night of my life and it still feels surreal.

High school has been stressing me out; I have 3 assignments due tomorrow, a group presentation to give and a surprise test! And the worst part is I can't stop thinking about him.

I decided to go to some coffee shop and get my assignments done. A nice strong coffee is what I need. Yeah that should do it.

As I was walking I see that there's an event going on so they are handing out flyers and people dressed in costumes. There was this one specific person who was inside a cat costume. It reminded me of my family cat, grey and brown eyes. It waved at me and I was confused so I slowly waved back. A girl handed me a flyer and said with great enthusiasm;

"Hey there! Our cafe is holding a charity event for the local shelter and we would love both your presence and contribution for this!"

I smile awkwardly and take the flyer she handed me. As she was greeting the next customer I felt something behind me and almost tripped. Someone stopped me from falling, it was the cat costume from before. They held me so close and tight. This felt familiar and that's when I heard it.

"Hello Sunshine"

I was shocked, surprised and other synonyms of that word!

There's no way Austin would be inside this suite. Right?

"Great job today everyone! We're done for the day."

That's when he removes the head and I could see his face. He was dripping with sweat, it must have been really hard to breath in this suite. He's never looked more hotter. I could feel the butterflies in my stomach, even though he let go of me a while back.

"What's up? Do I really look that bad? Do I smell or something cause I've been in this suite the whole day. He says as he laugh casually.

Oh no I was just surprised that's all. But yeah you look like you just visited Satan in hell."

"Haha I guess I did scare you a bit. Anyways I'm glad I ran into you, I was so stupid to let go of you without knowing how to contact you."

"I guess you weren't that smart as I taught you would be. What are you doing here anyway? And why are you in a cat costume?"

"Oh well what can I say, this is my hero costume and you just found out my secret."

"I promise I wouldn't tell anyone" I say as I mock him.

"Hey Austin! Thank you for helping me today. Here is the money that you earned today and also some dessert for you to take home. Oh Hi there I don't think I caught your name..."

I had no idea who she was or how she knew Austin. She wore a cute outfit and she talks in a cute way. She has really smooth hair and the perfect body that every girl would die to have and every boy to be with her. I don't usually compare myself with anyone cause I know they all look better than me but she looked the kind of girl he would wanna be with and I hate the taught of it.

"Oh right, Charlotte meet Julia, Julia meet Charlotte."

"I've heard that name before..... That's right! You're the Julia he keeps talking about!"

Austin blushed and so did I.

"Let me get changed and grab my stuff and we can go somewhere else"

"You're not going anywhere. Stay. Both of you." Charlotte says as she pleads him.

"I mean I did come here to finish my work"

"Great you staying! I'll get you anything you need. On the house."

We both look at Austin and he finally gives in.

"So do you need any help?"

"Let's see, I'm due all these tomorrow and I have no idea what I'm suppose to do"

"Hmm it's calculus and that too basic one... how do you find this hard?"

"Why are you saying like it's the dumbest thing you've seen all your life!? You know I would have killed myself if I took the standard one, and also I'm failing this class. Ughh I hate this!"

I can't believe I threw a fit in front of him. And now he is laughing at me. Perfect.

"I remember you used to say the same thing before. You haven't changed have you" He continues laughing.

"Well neither have you, you are still smart and make fun of me." I say with a pouting mouth.

"Let's get started cause I don't wanna hear you wine again"

"Hey that's mean" I say trying to hit him.

I don't know when it happened but I FELL ASLEEP!

I jolted up straight and panicked to see no one else but me at the cafe.

OMG did Austin leave?

He must have taught how pathetic I was and was probably fed up.

"Oh you're awake"

Austin comes toward me smiling, and with two mugs in his hand.

"Hot Chocolate?" He says smiling at me.

"Did I fall asleep? I mean of course I have, but for how long?"

"Only for 2 hours."

"Where is everybody?"

"They left, it was closing time after all. Charlotte asked me to close the shop after we were done and I didn't want to wake you up. You looked so peaceful while sleeping. You were also drooling." He mentions at last.

I quickly wipe my mouth looking embarrassed.

"Says the creep who was watching me sleep."

"I finished most of your work, it seemed to be stressing you a lot."

"Wow you actually did do it. Thank you, really. I-I don't know what to say."

He closes my books and moves it aside while placing the hot chocolate in front of me. It smelled so good and tasted amazing.

"Did you make it yourself?"

"Yeah kind of. Charlotte taught me this recipe."

"Oh" I said in an upsetting tone.

"How long have you known her?"

"Charlotte? I have known her for a while now. I met her during her senior year after I moved. I was having a hard time fitting in so she helped me. She always told me how she wanted to run a coffee shop and when she finally made it I decided to help her out. Trust me she is actually fun to hang out with.

"Yeah I can see that, she seems fun.."

"Why, what's wrong? You sound jealous." He smirked.

"Me and that too jealous? No way I just think it's weird that you two are that close."

"Julia." He says in a soothing tone while holding my hands.

"That is jealousy but there's nothing you need to worry about me and Charlotte. She's just a friend."

I'm not convinced but I don't wanna ruin this moment so I just nod and change the subject.

"Well I think you mastered making one of the best hot chocolate I ever had. You better spoil me with your other skills that you learned."

"Oh I sure will."

"It's getting late and I'm not planning on sleeping here."

"Let me drop you at your place. Oh and before we leave I need to know how to contact you. Like Insta or snap or any app that I can use to get to know you."

"Yeah, wouldn't want to make the same mistake again."

We were walking on the street, the weather was chilly and the clouds were almost clear. It couldn't be more perfect.

A cool breeze passed us and I shivered. He held me closer and held my hand the whole time. This was perfect.

But then I suddenly questioned what we are?

What were we doing?

Are we in a relationship?

I mean this pretty much seemed like a date.

As we approached closer to my place I was kinda sad. Not cause this day was coming to an end but because of where I stand to him.

I stopped right under the streetlight and Austin noticed I wasn't beside him anymore.

"What's wrong? Is everything alr-"

"Austin. What am I to to?"

"I don't understand what you're trying to say."

"You said you loved me and and we almost ended up having sex that night. And later I didn't see you until today and you acted as if nothing happened between us. Is this some kind of 'Friends with Benefits' thing? Cause I don't want thi-"

I couldn't say anything cause his mouth was already inside mine. And before I knew it we were kissing. I tried to stop him and pushed him away.

"Julia I didn't know you felt this way. And no I wasn't using you to get something out of you. After you left that morning I felt so lonely and didn't want to let you go. I couldn't stop thinking about you and asked Ryan from the party if he knew anything about on how to contact you. Obviously he wasn't of any help. You had no idea how happy I was when I spotted you at the cafe. I really wanted to ask you out but wasn't sure you wanted that or if it was too early."

"I didn't know you felt that way, so it wasn't just me."

Another gust of wing goes by and the next thing I saw was Austin on one knee like he was giving a marriage proposal,

"Julia will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes! I mean I would love to be your girlfriend."

I was really happy and hugged him.

"I never want to let you go."

"Neither do I."
