The Desolate Lands

<<Jaxon's Point of View>>

Before my eyes were the desolate lands, stretching out in a vast, barren expanse, an aftermath of a war hinted.

Amid the cracked and lifeless earth, where deep craters from powerful spells scarred the land, faint traces of magic still lingered. The air was thick with the residue of battles, snapping with an unsettling energy.

I could see it. The landscape was scattered with the ruins of what had once been homes and buildings. A few skeletal frames of wooden houses leaned precariously, their roofs long gone, leaving only charred beams exposed to the sky.

Broken cobblestone streets, now overgrown with twisted, unnatural plants. Shattered stalls and toppled carts lay abandoned, their contents long looted or lost to time.
