Ready Or Not

I got to meet Fig's little lady and I fell in love. She's pure white and the softest thing I've ever felt. She can't talk like Fig but that doesn't matter as long as Fig is happy. The two seem to understand each other just fine and that's all that matters.

That wasn't even the biggest shock though.. I caught Lilith and Ren together and I can hardly keep it to myself. Both of them begged me to keep it from Rune and I gave them my word that I wouldn't tell him but I just couldn't help it.

Every time I look at them now I see it.. all the looks.. smiles.. glances or the way he always chooses to stand close to her. I don't really understand it though. I think they make a wonderful couple so I see no problem in telling Rune but they both freaked when I brought it up. To each their own I guess.

The wedding had all been set up thanks to Rune and Lilith.. Lilith was in her zone with this kind of stuff so I was thankful. If it was up to me there would be balloons and cake.. maybe a bounce house but hey, that's just me. When I did mention the bounce house they had no idea what I was even talking about so I let it go. It's not like I can use it right now anyway.

I can hardly walk from one room to the other without Rune freaking out. He wants to carry me everywhere I go and at first, it was sweet but now... now it was just annoying. I look up to the two suns and again I'm hit with a feeling of worry.. I really hope it's nothing.. I really may have developed a PTSD after going through everything. I shake it off and make my way over to the rooms.

Lilith has my dress out and waiting and when she turns to see me her face lights up. I find myself returning the contagious smile. "Are you ready?" She asks with a bright smile and I nod my head saying "Ready as I'll ever be." The dress is absolutely beautiful.. the fabric dips gracefully around the front of my stomach, hiding the small bump but still making me look runway ready.

"It's beautiful.." I say in a whisper and Lilith says "Rune picked it out.. he felt that this dress was the perfect one for you." I smile and run my hands over the magical fabric. Everywhere I touched the fabric would shimmer with magic. From a white to silvery white making it breathtaking. "Now it's time to do your hair and makeup.. Let's go!" Lilith says and pulls me over to the chair next to the counter full of makeup and hair stuff.

She put my hair half up and half down letting the top part fall down my back like a waterfall of loose curls. She somehow placed beaded strings of the same stuff my dress was made out of and the way it contrasted against my dark hair made it pop. It was beautiful.. I still wore the necklace Rune had given me and it fit in just right. The earrings were just simple jewels that reflected the light every time they moved.

"It's time.. Are you ready?" Lilith said with tears in her eyes and I gave her a small hug. "I've been ready.." I whisper and she laughs. She takes my hand and leads me to the large double doors leading out to the gardens. We decided to have it there to include all the fairies. The suns had already set bathing everything in darkness but magical lights danced in the air lighting everything up.

Some were the fairies and some were provided by the employees of the castle. I look over to find Rune dressed in all black watching me with a deep smile. I return the smile and watch as his grows. His golden eyes take me in from head to toe and I completely forget there are others here. He holds his hand out and I walk over and take it.

This was it... this was my life now and I wouldn't change it for the world. I see Fig with his lady friend in one of the trees and my heart swells. I hope this is a new chapter to a better life. One without all the killing and fighting.. one with peace and one full of hope. Here's to a new chapter in life!
