Chapter 2

Leo left the Broken Castle that he was staying and when he got out, he was meet up with a ruin, even ancient ruin looked much better than this place, it was devoid of life, and the traces of the war could be seen.

"I will think about you later, for now, I need to get credits first"

Leo didn't want to look around right now, there is no reason to look at something that you have lost, it's not pleasing to watch.

Deawitld, is a word that is hard to pronounce even for Leo but anyway, it took Leo a few hours to reach this place in walking.

"Its gloomy in this place,"

Leo could not help but look around the place, just like its name says, Field of the deads, this place looked like a cemetery, but instead of seeing tombs, what he saw were human skeletons littered around the place, its atmosphere is also gloomy due to the fog that covered the whole place, it was day time but in this place, it was as if it was eternally dark.

He looked around the place and not too far away, he saw light, multiple lights actually, it seemed like it was the base of the bandits.

Leo took out his USP-S, maybe it was just a coincidence that he bought this gun but the USP-S has a silencer that is good for stealth attacks, even more, when the place is very foggy.

Before he proceeded, he rested for a while because his new body is very weak and haven't eaten for a few days, it was Leo's system that kept him alive but if this continued for a few days he would really die.

"Time to farm credits and get some loots"

Leo finished resting and silently proceeded towards the bandit base, about 100 meters away, he saw the full base, it was made of wooden pillars and they use lamps as their light source, there are 4 patrols on the tower which is in charge of patrolling.

Leo didn't charge immediately and watched their pattern, about 5 minutes later, 2 of the patrols left to walk around, Leo prepared his gun and pointed it towards the bandits left on the tower.

Once he saw that the two bandits who left were out of range making them unable to what is going to happen next, Leo fired.

*Pew! *Pew!

The USP-S was very silent and other than Leo who held it, no one heard it, but one thing was for sure, two bandits fell and they didn't even know what hit them.

Leo then looked around and seeing no one else was there, he proceeded cautiously, he bent his body and made sure he was almost blended to the ground, it didn't take long for him to reach the gates of the Bandits base, he looked around and saw no one in the entrance.

But from the corner of his eye, he saw the two patrol bandits that left earlier are coming back, Leo positioned himself and pointed his gun towards them.

*Pew! *Pew!

Leo then entered inside the base carefully while using some barrels or walls to get some cover, inside, he saw about 4 bandits sitting around the hearth drinking and boasting about their loots today.

Leo didn't shoot them immediately but instead inspected around to see if there are some bandits sitting and watching the drinking bandits, and just not too far away, he found a lonely bandit sitting near a pillar while watching the bandits that are having fun.

"Let me take you out of your loneliness"

*Pew~

The bandit heard a voice but before he was able to react, a bullet pierced his head.

Leo then proceeded towards the four bandits.

*Pew~ x4

"1 bullet…"

Leo was about to speak when he aimed at the corner towards a bandit who seemed to just finish his nature's call, the bandit was shocked at first then he finally reacted and was about to shout but his voice is not faster than the bullet, the bandit fell.

After he took down the bandit, Leo immediately reloaded his gun and proceeded deeper in the bandit base, but before he left, he picked up a knife on the ground, just in case something unexpected happens.

Deeper into the Bandits base, Leo found a tent, he could hear some voices inside, two guys, wait…

Leo peeked inside and there he saw something that needed holy water to cleanse his eyes.

"I don't want to waste my bullets to these two"

Leo thought, then pulled out a knife, he ignored the extracurricular activity they were doing and went to the guy who was on top.

*Slash!

Leo slashed the bandit's neck then pulled out his gun and shoot the other one, he realized at the last moment that he can't bend his body at this place, it was no different than picking up soap on the ground.

Leo then proceeded to check up the other tents and found some sleeping bandits, he just shot each of them.

"Argh? What is that noise!"

Leo just got out of the tent he was just in when he saw a burly man standing outside on the biggest tent in the place, there was a big blade in his hand.

Leo didn't hesitate and immediately shot the burly man.

"What who are yo-"

*Ting!

"What?"
