An angry Anthony

Anna's POV

My heart dropped heavily just thinking about what might be going through Nicholas's mind.

He had smiled and pretended like what I said had no effect on him.

While I was thinking it would lessen my burden to tell him the truth it seems to have added to it.

Is things ending between us?.

"Where have you been?

I have been going crazy waiting for you to return!" Anthony's anger startled me as I got into the house.

"What's going on?".

My heart beat rapidly with new fears, what if Dad is gone?, but I was with him just a few hours ago!.

"It is of utmost importance that we keep you safe during this period, we don't know if Dad will make it through.

I don't want anything to happening to you too ". His said with his eyes wide and unsmiling.

It's strange to see him all riled up and pissed.

"I left with Nicholas earlier, you should know I'm safe.

And why are you yelling?". I replied calmly.
