Engaged?!

Anna's POV

Nicholas was waiting for me in the car, his face was emotionless and I can not think of any reason why he is mad.

My phone vibrated as it began to ring, Lily's incoming call was displayed on the phone and a smile spread across my face.

"Hey-

<Are you really getting married?>

She asked immediately as I picked the call.

"Married?!

What are you talking about?" I asked, chuckling in amusement.

< I should at least know, you are my only friend Anna. I'm disappointed >

She continued and I noticed the sadness in her voice.

I turned to look at Nicholas but his face was turned to the road and his expression was rigid.

< The whole country gets to know before that you are getting married >

"The whole world?

I think you are mistaken" I replied and I laughed lightly.

I was waiting for her to say something when the call disconnected.
