Alina's pov

I was running faster jumping trees by trees. I stoped at a place when that smell got stronger. I looked here and there and I saw blood flowing from behind the tree. I ran towards there. "Hey are you....." my voice stoped at the middle when I came across that girl. I felt like my breath stopped for a moment when I saw her. It was the most terrible thing I saw ever in my life. My eyes were widen at looking at the body infront of me lying. I couldn't believe how brutal that looked. She was probably of my age too looking at her. Her neck was badly bitten till it showed her inner bones of neck. Her eyes were still widen in terror. Her clothes were badly tore apart with her body. And her legs were broken covered in blood.

It was probably my first time seeing such a scene in my life. In human life I did see many people getting killed and there corpse but not this brutal. I trained and fought with people that tried to harm me but now can I really fight with this brutal being? I felt my leg trembled.

ALINA ARE YOU OK? my wolf voice brought me back in my senses. "Huh? yeah..."

Looking at this corpse now I felt more scared thinking about if my families were safe or not?

"Lisa let's go back and check on mom and dad" I ran as fast as I could towards the safe house.

On my way to the safe house I heard my growls. Maybe they were fighting. Ignoring all of it I ran as fast I could. I got towards the safe house were two guards were already standing there. They suddenly got attentive of my presence. One of the guard growled and asked me who I was was? "look I am Alina Dafferen daughter of Grabel Dafferen." When I complete my sentence those wolf smelled me to insure if I was there pack member or not. They looked at each other and seemed to be mindlinking eachother to talk. "Ok you can go in" saying that one of the guard opened the door.

As I got in I saw all the women who were terrified. Some kids were crying. I looked here and there finding my mom. She was nowhere to be found. When I suddenly heard Celia's voice. "Alina..." she ran towards me and hugged me tightly. "why are you here Alina? "I will tell you later where us mom and dad?" "Aunty is treating the patient in other room. And uncle is outside fighting with Roger's" I became shocked. I totally forgot that my dad was a fighter of the pack. "Alina are you OK?" she said. "....yes... I will go and meet mom."

I was going when I heard a women voice banging at the door. "Please open the door. My child my child is lost...." the door opened showing those guards again. "what happened ma'am?" He asked. "My child is not with me. please find her."

"where did you saw her last time ma'am. She was playing with other kids in jungle. we were hurriedly send inside the safe house. They told me that all kids were send inside but my daughter is still not here. please find her she is just 5 yrs old." the woman was crying and begging.

"We can't go ma'am. we are told to guard this place. We are not allowed to leave." the guards told her.

" Then let me go I will find her." she tried to go out but got blocked by the guards. " You can't....Roger's are all attacking right now." the guard told her. "Leave me....then do you want to let my daughter die?" she shouted at the guard. 'Die' when I heard that word it brought back my memory of seeing that corpse of that girl.

"Please ma'am we will try to talk with someone to save your daughter." the guard told her. "Try? I want my daughter back. Leave me." She was continously struggling. I went towards that women and touched her. She looked at me with her crying face. "what is your daughter's name?"
