CHAPTER 95

　　Kara

　　God.

　　I felt nervous.

　　Sara's presence in the hospital was not positive. I'm sure she overheard what I told my parents. Sara heard me confess that I still love Stefan. Both of us were in a war zone, and I knew she would retaliate against me for admitting my love for Stefan.

　　I tried to sit up on the bed.

　　"Sorry, I didn't know you were here with her," Sara apologized.

　　I wanted to kick her out of my room, but she would retaliate against me soon too. I didn't want to give her more reasons to hate me. I could barely handle everything that was happening in my life.

　　"Why are you here, Sara?" my mother asked. "She needs to be calm, and I don't think your presence here is positive for Kara to get better. Remember that you are one reason Kara is in the hospital."

　　I didn't expect my mother to defend me against Sara. I wanted to smile, but I spared the smile to avoid future problems with Sara.
