CHAPTER 34

　　Stefan

　　I returned home after arriving in Seattle, a long and exhausting trip. My main concern was whether Sara would be there. I searched for her throughout the house, but she wasn't there. I noticed her clothes were gone from the closet, confirming what she had told me about ending our relationship. She had taken most of her clothes with her.

　　I called her repeatedly and left messages, expressing my desire to see her, but she ignored me. I even went to her place to look for her, but she wasn't there either. I called my best friend, Scott.

　　"Stefan, how's everything?" Scott answered, even though we hadn't spoken since I left for Los Angeles.

　　"Aren't you still mad at me?"

　　"I'm always mad at you, but I care about you, brother. What's going on? What do you need?"

　　"Sara. I don't know where she is."

　　"You said she went with you to Seattle."
