CHAPTER 27

　　Kara

　　"Kara, what happened?" Derek rushed towards me.

　　He crouched down to see my face, wiped away my tears with his fingers, and kissed my forehead.

　　"What happened? Are you feeling unwell? Do you need me to take you to the hospital?"

　　"That crazy woman."

　　"Who?"

　　"Sara. She came here and threatened me."

　　"Did she hit you again?" he worriedly asked, scanning my body but finding no wounds.

　　"No, she threatened me with a knife. Stefan confronted her for what she did to me yesterday. She came to warn me I couldn't be near him. I don't know what to do, Derek. I'm so scared. I want nothing bad to happen to me. I'm frightened." I held onto his body. "She pressed the knife against my neck. You didn't see how she looked at me. I thought she would kill me, Derek."

　　"Oh, Kara... I swear I'll go find her and kill her myself! That damn crazy woman!" he exclaimed. I had never seen Derek so angry, not even about Stefan.

　　"No! We can't do anything. She's dangerous, Derek."
