If Owen will be able to defeat his system and unravel the mysteries of the system and the worlds depends on how dark and cold he can let his heart be. "Isn't that Owen Duurm?" "Shhh....don't be so loud. Last week he had a falling out with the Prime Minister, and told him 'I hope you get home safely' our prime minister died the moment he stepped foot into his home." the lady was obviously sacred as she spoke and stares at the handsome man walking down the hall. "Isn't he the dummy of the Duurm family?" The lady released a sad sigh. "He used to be. But now, he is not just his family's terror but our terror. The whole country's nightmare."

The doom it will bring.

Her manager would have told her to hush but he knows how powerful her family is and knows she is a spoilt brat. He managed a smile and quickly hurries her out of there before she begins to say things they might not be able to control the effect of.

Inside the interview room, Owen and Ophelia sat opposite a group of four judges, the file man included.

They each checked the portfolio of Ophelia that he had submitted. One couldn't even tell what they were thinking form their expression and Owen didnt want to know  either.

The taxi man held the gold card Owen had given him between his fingers as she walked towards the House of Maniac. He glanced at the tall building and shakes his head. So after running from him and taking away what they both depended on to survive, she dared to still hang around the state. Is she so confident that he wouldn't be able to find her? He smiles at the card once again and shows the guard who from afar was already staring at him like he was some pest. He was asked to swipe his card across a device which he did. After few seconds, the guard gave him a nod and allowed him entry into the high end club.

He knew he was in for it when he began hearing the booming sound once he stepped in. There weren't people crowded around on the dance floor like the clubs he had been to. Just few persons sitted at the bar enjoying the music. He walks to a worker and shows him his wife's picture.

"I don't know her but if you are looking for her, I suggest you ask the manager?" He offers while packing some glasses off the table.

The taxi man became even more excited, he patted his hip and nods his head. "Where can I see the manger?"

The worker looked at the attender and signal to him. The bartender then points behind him and the worker asked the man to go in the left direction. "The manager should be in room 46."

The taxi man didn't even thank him and rushed forward. He searched for room 46 and finally found it. This room was different from the one he had first been in. Room 46 was devoid of music but filled with ladies in flimsy underwear doing what seem to be a catwalk on a raised platform. He searched the dimly lit room and found a woman in cooperate attire. He walks up to her and says something to her. She then checks his card and slides it over the same device that had been used at the entrance.

"She is a regular here. She and her sister." The manager began as she walked out the door and the taxi man followed.

"I have been looking for her all around. I just have something to say to her."

"Not a problem. When you return the card, please let Mr Duurm know we will be delighted to have him here." She flashes him a small smile and he nods clearly not interested. She then shows him to a room numbered 44, one he had walked past. "You will find her here. Her sister preparing for the next show."

He rushed in before she could try to stop him with her words again. The manager frowns a little but thought less of it. Afterall, he has a card that is legit.

After being questioned by the judges, the file man turns to Ophelia and specifically questions.

"Moving from acting to modelling is usually not easy. Why are you deciding on it?"

Owens brain immediately began to think of how to respond even though it was directed to Ophelia. He had found something suitable and was about to speak when he felt something flash in his brain like a faint red light. He felt a little light headed and blinked to clear his now blurred vision.

'System booting.'

He could see the number start to move from zero to sixty and in a matter of seconds was already at hundred.

'System activated.' He blinks and saw his AI standing behind the file man.

"Mr Duurm, Mr Duurm, is everything fine?" One of the judges asked when he noticed Owen seemed really distracted.

He offers the man a smile and adjusts his expression. When he looked back at the file man, there was some sort of blue covering his entire self.

'Dear host, system has detected a potential candidate, would you like to save?'

He had no idea what it meant so he decided to think 'Yes'.

"Like I said, I am sorry about the attitude of our ex staff, we are vey impartial at Star Model." The file man apologised his faint smile on Opehlia.

Opehlia didnt say a word and returned his apology with a smile.

One of the female judges gave Ohelia an intense look and says. "Let's talk about the terms and condition of the competition. " Ophelia wiped the smile off her face and turned her emotionless gaze to the woman. She begins to explain some dos and don'ts. How Ophelia isn't allowed to be pregnant or get involved in anything scandalous before the real event. She proceeds to explain to Owen how his agency would have to co-work with theirs to maintain their reputation.

"Of course, that wouldn't" he paused when he saw a message pop up.

'Dear host, first mission in progress, would you like to activate the gods for the taxi man?'

He had no choice butto pick yes. The gods was his but the system must know what it is doing if it wants to activate gods for the taxi man. When he picks his answer, a blue circle that slowly turns red rolls in the screen for few seconds. The system flashes a bright blue color before some words start to appear on the screen.

Owen unaware he was already distracted from the interview focused on looking ahead. The judges looked back to see if he was starting at something but saw nothing.

Meanwhile Owen waits for the system to be done typing before reading the words in his mind.

'The lure of the secrets that lies beneath, will be greater than the doom you know it will bring.'
