Chapter 43- Changes

I slowly flickered my eyes open, white… all I could see was white.

I was floating, I could feel my body move as I started moving my fingers slowly.

What is this sense of Deja vu? Ah that old is looking at me.

"OLD MAN!?" I shouted in surprise as the old man, or should I say god? Grinned at me.

"Yo~ brat seems like you're energetic as ever." He said with a smile as I looked around the white space.

"Why'd you bring me here?" I asked while I raised an eyebrow looking at him.

"Well there's some things I want to talk to you about." The old man said showing three fingers as he smiled.

"First of all, you'll be going to a new world as you know." He said as I nodded.

"Well is that what you wanted to talk about? Are there some things I need to know before I head to my next world?" I asked tilting my head as he chuckled and nodded.

"Yeah, there's a lot of things you need to know before you go to your next destination." He said smirking.

"Well firstly I'll be putting the lazy system off." He said with a smile as I looked at him in surprise.

"What!? Why?" I asked him in confusion.

"Well there's something I need to modify, it'll probably take a lot of time for the modifying team." He said with his hand on chin, as I looked at him with my veins popping out from my neck as I smiled.

"Ain't you a big god? I'm sure you can fix it with a snap of your finger." I said snapping my finger as he chuckled.

"But I don't want to~ it's no fun." He said with a smile staring deep into my eyes as I felt chill in my spines.

"I see. How long would it take?" I asked him as he started counting with his fingers playfully.

"Hm~ I don't know maybe after you finish up in your third world I guess?" He said with a hint of playfulness in his tone, as I frowned.

"Well I should at least be able to take things out of my inventory right?" I asked him as he thought after awhile clapped his hands.

"Fine I'll let you use the inventory other than that you won't be able to use anything maybe asking for status is optional for you." He said with a smile as I nodded.

"But can I ask you something?" I asked as he nodded.

"Why would you modify my system?" I asked him as he hummed.

"I mean it's interesting to have your creation go strong and fight it at the end~" He said as his eyes glowed yellow staring down at my soul as I put my guard up.

Few seconds later he smiled dumbly.

"I'm just joking~ well I just want to help you grow strong." He said as I nodded not taking his words.

"Well you should be ready to go." He said snapping his fingers as a big door appeared in front of me.

"Well you should have the key to this door in your inventory. Use it and go to your next world." He said as I nodded before taking out the key, I put it in the key hole before looking at him.

"Wait a second. You said I would go to the next world after this right? Then how am I supposed to get out of the world I'm going to right now?" I asked as he smiled.

"We'll meet at some point, there I'll tell you how to get the key for your next world." He said as I nodded, unlocking the door, I opened as it glowed brightly.

Well shall we start the re-modification for this system?

Till then enjoy at that world Kageyama~ you'll grow strong as you go world from world.
