On their way to the island where he would be banished, a powerful storm swept through and sank the ship. Alexander drowned and at the moment, he thought he died from drowning. The convoy pressed onward toward the sprawling military testing grounds outside Volkshalle. Alexander, flanked by his trusted advisor Matthew Schreiber, remained quiet in the armored car. Matthew cleared his throat, breaking the silence. "Your Excellency, the first stop will be the Valorian Aeronautics Division. Colonel Kruger will introduce the VAF-01, our turbine-engine aircraft prototype. From there, we'll proceed to the Ministry of Defense's Nuclear Energy Research Facility, where Minister Thompson and Dr. Reinhardt will provide an update on the VE-01 reactor."
Alexander nodded slightly, his masked visage betraying no emotion. "These are not routine inspections, Matthew. I expect to see progress—not promises. Ensure the appropriate reports are prepared before our return."
