Sir George Whiteway of the Supreme Alliance, the man who had led the envoy that had gone over to Agreya to discuss the sale of the Northern mines over to the Supreme Alliance, now stood in a large triangular room . The place had a silent touch of extreme extravagance, with the walls engraved with plain green but very expensive backlit Gaya quartz gems. A high podium had been erected and on it were only five chairs, made up of pure refined gold. These five chairs made up the only form of furnishing the massive room contained.
Five people were seated on these five chairs , all of them quietly directing their unflinching gazes down on sir George.
