A Deal That'll Lead To War

The girl held Chris' face as Chris was holding her near his chest. He can feel her pulse slowly getting weaker. Even though he was weak and had lost an arm, he used his every bit of strength just to drag himself out of the burning village with the girl. Every part of his body was screaming in pain but he never showed it. He was gasping for air to the point where he was so nauseous but he'd grit his teeth and keep on moving forward. He can feel the girl's body becoming colder as time passes yet he never slowed his pace.

Chris:
[NO! I PROMISED YOU THAT I WILL SAVE YOU NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES!...you're the only one I have left...]
Tears streamed down from the girl's cheeks. Suddenly, Chris heard loud footsteps as it draws nearer. As he looks back, he saw a group of demons chasing them while riding gigantic, black wolves. Chris tried to run but he was too weak. At that point, he gently put the girl down then he draw his sword. He faced the incoming enemies showing no fear. With all his strength, he shouted at the demons.
Chris:
[COME!!! I'LL KILL YOU!!! I'LL KILL YOU ALL!!!]
At that moment, Leo woke up. He then slowly wipe his tears off his cheeks. He can feel his hands shaking
