A Dark Energy!?

[Well, it's not like I was normal in my past life. I even had my doubts whether I was a human but now that I saw this, I'm beyond that]

As Leo was currently looking at the sky, he suddenly felt a dark and ominous energy.
Leo:
[This!...]
Throughout his entire life as a former hero, he couldn't forget his experiences. Mostly the days where he suffered he always felt the same kind of energy...killing intent
Leo sprinted towards the place where it was emitting dark energy. It was an abandoned building about two stories high. It had 5 broken windows on the second floor and one of those windows he went in. It was dark, dusty and full of webs. Inside there were 3 doors with each having equal spacing. Leo noticed that the energy was coming from the right most door. As he went closer, he could hear a child crying, begging as if it was her last life but Leo noticed that she was not alone. He noticed that the door had some holes so he decided to look through it. There he saw a huge guy, about 7 feet tall pressing over a small girl, a beastman.
???:
[Kahahaha, another enticing meal. I wonder how much you'll scream after I start breaking you down there]
???:
[No! Stop!....gah! Stop!]
The guy started to rip the girl's clothes. As he was about to strangle her, Leo smashed the door. Tons of dust surrounded the room, as it slowly faded, Leo was currently pinning down the huge guy by holding his forehead on the floor. The huge guy started spitting out blood from his mouth and through his nose. The guy was bewildered, he didn't knew what was happening.
???:
[LET GO OF ME YOU FUCKING BASTARD!]
Leo looked at the girl
Leo:
[Go...]
The girl nodded and ran towards the exit
???
[FUCK! YOU'LL REGRET THIS!]
The man held Leo's arm in an attempt to throw him off, but he was shocked as he couldn't even move his hands out of his face. Suddenly, his face became tighter, he can hear his skull starting to crack

Leo:
[It truly is quite fortunate that nobody can hear us, for a disgusting shit to be able to find this place, you're quite experienced]
Leo gripped the man's face even tighter, blood started coming out. The man kept on screaming

Suddenly the girl's health went down by 10, Leo started panicking

Leo quickly picked her up then he kicked the door off, he sprinted as fast as he can back into the city. At that moment, the girl's health kept going down and was currently at 5. Few seconds later he arrived at the nearest hospital.
Leo:
(Now how should I explain this!? Damn!...)
He screamed for help, suddenly a group of people came running outside the building. There they saw the girl lying right in front of the entrance, they quickly picked her up and went inside. Leo was currently hiding behind a car, watching at them and after that, he left.
Leo:
[...that was close...really close]
(I thought she wouldn't make it since her health was only 1, but I'm glad it stopped going down)
[Now for my clothes (too much blood)...I think it's best to burn them]
Next morning, Leo and his father were currently watching the news

[At around 6:00 am in the morning, the mage corps were able to discover Rick Smith' s hideout A. K. A. The giant killer]

[Hoh? At last, they found out that killer's place]
Leo:
[You know him dad?]
Reynard:
[Yeah, he's the main reason why our paperworks kept on growing and growing]
Reporter:
[The mage corps confirmed that the dead body lying inside one of the rooms is indeed Rick Smith and was believed to have been killed by someone]
One of the mage Corps:
[We think that Rick was killed recently throughout the night. We didn't know who or what might have killed him but based on the palm and foot prints, it might have been someone with a small body.]
Reporter:
[The mage Corps are now starting to investigate who exactly is this mysterious killer and why did he do it? That's it for now, Mike Bradley signing off]
Andrea:
[The place where the giant killer was residing is just near in our neighbourhood]
Reynard:
[And we haven't found it for 3 years]

[I'm quite afraid of who this mysterious killer is. To be able to take down an experienced C-rank Assassin. I think this killer could be at least B rank or higher]

(I knew it at first that that Rick Smith was a famous killer, since he has a title. Titles are acquired by the things and decisions you make. Some titles are even achieved by the performances you make. That includes all things like cooking, inventing, fighting and from Rick's case, it's killing. Some titles are even bestowed by a higher being but in here, those cases are quite rare)

[By the way Leo, when did you change your clothes?]
Leo:
[Ah!...uhm...uh, I was uh...sweating so much last night that I had to change them]
Andrea:
[Really? But it was really cold last night. Do you have a fever?]
Leo:
[N-no, i ts just that uhm...uh, I kept on moving so that my body generates more heat, therefore I started sweating]
