Sneaking out

(A/n: I will be removing the system. But the stages are still there. Maybe I will add back in the future who knows.)

Time skip 3 years and 6 months

During this time a lot of things have changed. For example the physical appearance of Alex. He got taller and his skills have improve as well.

Jean was not as sad as Alex expected her to be when he told her the news about there time together getting cut shorter. The reason being Jean seems to hold some grown up aspect of her Acting grand master self. It seems her character was not really a child but at least of a one of 10. At the very least. 3 and 1 months more mature than she should be.

[Alex Pov]

Her mother seems to be imprinting Jean with knowledge a knight should be. Nothing too much for a child but not to little either. It seems Jean is much more mature when I'm not around. Kind of like a side she only shows to me and only me.

But anyway today will be my first adventure. Time to go and kill something with what I learned from myself. Yes you heard me, I'm self taught. My mom never really allowed me to pick up a sword during these 3 years. So now I have to sneak out of my house to go get some real experience.

I waited until it was dark out and left through my window through a rope I crafted from my cloths. I know I'm great so smart and efficient. For my future leaves through the window. I left a note on my nightstand. Just incase my parents come in my room and wonder where I went. Also to make sure they don't think something drastic happened. So they don't worry too much.

With a Sliver sword in my inventory of my vision. My vision attach to my hip. I left my home in search of slimes to fight.

I heard a noise coming form my son's room when I was downstairs. I ignore it has it could have been something falling form his night table. I did not want to go in to disturb my sons sleep for something so trivial.

Later when I was going pass my sons room to get to mine. I felt a cool breeze from under the door. Which made me go in as he could get sick from being to cold at night. Better wakening him up than having him sick because of it.

When I want into his room I was shock to see him nowhere in sight, Windows open and some kind of rope leading out of it. I ran to the window as fast as I could but I could not see him anywhere. So I screamed.

-Keithhhhh come over here right now! To our sons room!- I screamed at the top of my lungs.

My husband came running in a few moments after I did so. Asking me what was wrong but all I could do was tell him our son was gone. I couldn't get any other words from the shock I receive from my child being gone. What could have happen.

If only I didn't ignore the sound. Maybe all of this could have been avoided.

-Honey calm down I'm sure we can find him. Lets just look for clue around his room to see what could have happened. I'm sure nothing bad gonna happen to him. Maybe he's still near the estate walking around.- my husband said

After listening to what my husband said I calm down. Crying won't help me in any way. I have to stay strong for my son safety and protection.

I looked around the room because of my husband suggestion and find a note. It was on his nightstand. It basically said that he left home to get some experience from real enemy's. It also said that he was only hunting down slimes and not something big. To make sure we don't worry.

Even if he only hunting slimes something bad could happen by accident. So I told my husband to go and look for my little Alex in places where there are usually slimes. My husband left after that to find our son.

I know he knows where the slimes are. As I taught him about the place where they are when we I was teaching him about the trade routes. Since he will take over the family business in the future and he has to know this.

[Alex Pov]

After I passed the gates of my home I saw the outside world in the dark. The star shining brightly in the night sky. Knowing each star is so far away from me. Not something I could reach. But it's only a matter of time before I can do the impossible.

Usually I could only see the star from my window. They shine even brighter when it's not blocked by my windows. Seeing so many stars is not something you can see in my old world. The world plague by pollution and work of humanity. Ruining the world so much the stars don't shine as bright as they use too. Some can't even be seen anymore because of it.

So seeing such a beautiful sky untainted by pollution was refreshing and inspiring.

The cool night breeze pass by me. Making me wake up from my thoughts I was having. So I started going to the nearest area that had slimes. Paying attention when my mother was teaching me payed off. If I didn't than I would be lost about where to find them in the first place. Wondering around could put me in danger. As I could encounter a lot of things that are above my level.

For example, Abyss mages or Mitachurl. Heck even a Hilichurl could be dangerous for me as i wasn't trained yet. Sure I have the power of Electro at intermediate but I never use it in combat yet. Only in practice. Plus me using a sword was self taught you know.

After a few minutes or so I found some slimes. Anemo slime to be exact.

So I start going near it while trying to remain as quite as possible. Next thing you know it it notice. Now let my first battle commence.
