Chapter 19

Zabaku Shigeru POV

-

I look at the other squad and my own, order them to clear the area of zombies around the plane, raise my arm and turn on the wrist comlink.

Zabaku Shigeru: "they already made their move"

?: "what happened?"

Zabaku Shigeru: "they shot down the plane, surely they will send assassins to ensure my death"

¿?: "..., eliminate the assassins and meet with the envoys of the pro-imperial faction, make sure they receive my gift"

Zabaku Shigeru: "understood, brother"

I turn off the comlink and look at the surviving soldiers.

Zabaku Shigeru: "get on the Raiden suits and secure the area"

I get out of the plane, I draw my Ninjato, I run towards a zombie and with a horizontal movement I cut off its head cleanly and almost instantly, I keep swinging my Ninjato like the master swordsman that I am and with my monstrous speed, I take out multiple zombies.

I swing my sword and cut the heads of several zombies, I jump over a group and land hard, crushing two zombies with my feet, I swing my sword and cut two zombies in half, I twist my body and hit the head of a zombie behind me with my elbow smashing into its head, I jump and somersault in the air, severing the heads of several zombies before wrapping my legs around a zombie's neck and twisting my body to snap its neck and rip its head off.

-3 hours later-

We finish eliminating the zombies around the plane and we meet on the plane.

with the same serious tone.

Zabaku Shigeru: "We will divide into teams and together with the rest we will support the Chinese troops"

everyone: "understood"

with a serious tone

Fuuma Amane: "Should we consider the Martial Artists sent by the Chinese Union as enemies?"

Zabaku Shigeru: "some do"

slightly surprised but then regaining her composure and narrowing her eyes at the Zabaku.

Fuuma Amane: (What kind of business is the Zabaku Clan in for the Chinese Union to want to assassinate the patriarch's brother?)

Zabaku Shigeru: "Me, the 2 soldiers and the 2 Raidens will go to the airport, Fuuma Weiren and Yatsu Ermac will clean up the suburban area where there should be thousands of zombies"

Zabaku Shigeru: "Fuuma Amane, Neguchi Yukio and Koukawa Oboro will clean up the commercial district full of shops and other businesses full of zombies"

Zabaku Shigeru: "Hachiya Karako and Amatsu Anri will clean up the big mall in the center of the city"

Zabaku Shigeru: "once you finish cleaning one place move to another and then another until there are no more zombies, then the second part of the operation will begin"

everyone: "understood"

we divided into teams and headed in different directions.

Hachiya Karako POV

We arrived at the mall and to my surprise it is as big as the Apostolic Palace where the Pope lives several floors above, seeing its size I imagine the large number of zombies that will be inside.

We entered the mall and I almost had an anxiety attack seeing how many zombies there are.

with a somewhat nervous expression and several drops of sweat falling down my forehead.

Hachiya Karako: (Holy Christ, why, why are there so many zombies in this place and worst of all, it's only the first floor!)

Looking at the zombies, I can count over 1000 zombies stacked on top of each other on the first floor.

a zombie jumps on top of me and I grab him by the neck with my left hand, I sigh and squeeze my hand crushing his neck and separating his head from his body.

Amatsu Anri pounces on the zombies and hitting one with the palm of his hand, his body explodes and impacts the surrounding zombies, destroying his bodies or dismembering them.

I draw my Ninjatos and charge towards a group of zombies, severing their heads or smashing their bodies with my kicks.

we spent several hours eliminating zombies.

-3 hours later-

lying on the ground, surrounded by several corpses and parts of some body.

with a tired tone and totally drenched in sweat.

Hachiya Karako: "Haa haa haa, we're finally done!"

looking at me with a serious expression.

Amatsu Anri: "we are not finished, there are still the other floors"

making a face and with a tired tone.

Hachiya Karako: "I'm tired, let me rest first"

Amatsu Anri: "..., just 10 minutes, then we'll go up"

Hachiya Karako: "understood"

-10 minutes later-

I get up and we go up to the second floor, we clean the place and continue going up to the next floors although the floors have a small amount of zombies, 60% of the zombies were on the first floor.

Once we cleaned up the mall, we met up with a group of Chinese soldiers who were sent to clean up the area, and we joined them and cleaned up the surroundings.

-6 hours later-

The city was cleared of zombies and following our objective we proceeded to eliminate the Chinese soldiers along with the survivors. During the entire mission I did not see or hear that a Martial Artist had arrived.

We met with the rest of the soldiers and Taimanins, we got back on the 3 planes that landed at the airport and we took off, moving away from the city I could see through the window how a missile hit the city, completely destroying it.

Hachiya Karako: (they will surely tell the press that some terrorist group stormed a military installation and activated the missile)

Zabaku Shigeru POV

We land at the military base we came from, I look at the Taimanin teams and tell them they can withdraw, then I walk through the military base and enter the command center.

with a serious tone.

Colonel Kanda: "How was the operation?"

with a serious tone

Zabaku Shigeru: "it went well"

with the same serious tone but somewhat agitated when remembering something.

Zabaku Shigeru: "Ha, thanks for the two Raidens, the envoy liked the combat power and he may start buying a batch or two of old Raiden models."

Colonel Kanda: "fine"

with a serious but somewhat nervous tone.

Colonel Kanda: "Could you tell me how my daughter is doing?"

Zabaku Shigeru: "Colonel Kanda, don't worry, Hasashi would only do something to her daughter if my brother ordered him to, as long as he continues to cooperate, nothing will happen to his daughter"

Colonel Kanda: "tch, she's fine, I'll continue to cooperate, but let me see her at least"

Zabaku Shigeru: "She's fine, in a few days I'll take him to see her daughter, then we'll continue with the business"
