Rewards

Kage opened his eyes and saw that he was in his room.

"Urghh my head hurts" he groaned out while holding his head. Then the memory of last night started coming into his brain and he started to remember the fight he had with Ken. And how he won that fight like an absolute badass.

"Holy shit... That was... The best fight... " kage couldn't still couldn't believe how awesome that felt. It was almost like an anime were he fought like a protagonist never giving up for the sake of his loved ones.

Then he was startled when the system blue screen popped up in his face.

"Shit! Don't scare me like that! "

Kage cried out in fear as he was startled by this damned system. Then he notice that the system was notifying him office rewards that he will be getting right now after he defeated Ken.

Kage immediately became excited at the prospect of new abilities and now he can finally move to higher levels and gain better abilities.

He without wasting anytime decided to press on the claim button on the middle of the screen and immediately in the flash of light notification came from the system.

Kage just looked at the screen in shock as he couldn't believe how good the perks were. Not only he feel much stronger now but also with these perks he can now diss out more damage to his enemies! Fucking Hell yeah!

These abilities most likely classify as probability manipulation in a sense. As these ability manipulate and changes the probability of delivering brutal and Critical strikes to cripple or completely take out his opponents. The funny thing about this ability is they are more effective against beings and other creatures that do not have good regeneration capability or they simply have high level of durability.

Meaning by passing their differences to land a critical blow is now much easier but at the same time he will struggle against beings with regenerative capability like the phenex family of underworld. So that means he cannot take on people like riser and hope to come out as victorious.

But that's ok because he still have a lot of time before the Canon starts he at least tell have 11 more years to go or maybe it what 10? he doesn't remember properly but it is around that number. But to kage that is plenty of time to prepare for people like him or even greater people like the fallen angles.

"TIME TO CELEBRATE BABY! MOM COOK SOMETHING NICE FOR ME PLEASE!! "

(Down stairs)

Kuroi was cooking food for her and her son while her husband was out of house. Apparently this morning he had some work in the bank as he wanted to withdraw some money when she tried to ask what he needed that money for he didn't answer her instead just said that it is for a surprise.

Now she trust her husband a lot but she still couldn't help but worry if he is getting into some illegal activity. Hopefully he will stay out of trouble...

"TIME TO CELEBRATE BABY! MOM COOK SOMETHING NICE CE FOR ME PLEASE!"

Kuroi was startled by the voice of her son, 8 appears for some reason both father and son where in a good mood in this particular morning.

' I wonder what it's about?'

"Mom! Can you cook something good for me now! Please just for today!! " kage shouted out as he made his way to the kitchen. Kage couldn't control his excitement at all as his hard work finally paid of by his last victory. All he wanted was to eat his mother's delicious food

"Kage! Stop shouting in the morning and tell me what are you so happy about!?"

"Nothing mom! It's just... "

"It'd just what!?"

Kage looked very serious this time. He grab his mother's hands and look at her in the eyes and said.

"Mom from this point on you and dad don't have to worry about anything because from now on i will protect both of you! And I will be the best son you as you are the best parents for me!"

Kuroi just stared at her son in a very different manner. Kage look so innocent yet so convince that he couldn't help but squel enjoy like a little girl and hugged her cute son

"Youuuu are spoiling cute!!!"

He started rubbing his cheeks much to kage discomfort as this wasn't manly at all. Made this comfort known by his shouts a protest against his mother's behaviour.

"Mom! Stop! I am a big boy now you can't do this to me hey!"

"Never~ you are just toooo sweet~"

For the next couple of minutes kuroi treated her son like a stuff toy hugging and cuddling him much to his discomfort. As he tried to get out of her mother grip but after a while she decided to let go a him. All her previous anger forgotten as a smiled happily at her sweet son.

"Mommm~ I am being serious when I say I will protect both of you!"

He whined cutely as he realise that he is mother was not taking him seriously enough but this action Just Cause her to fuss over him due to how cute he looks right now whining. This intern Just Cause him to sigh and then he notice that he is father was not present here so he asked.

"Mom where is dad? Did you left for office already?"

He knows that his father Never Goes to office this early meaning he must have gone somewhere else. Hearing is question kuroi decided to answer him.

"Your father went to bank this morning for some reason but he didn't bother telling me why.... all he said was that it's a surprise"

Kage was confused by this and wonder what the surprise truly was.

"What surprise mom?"

"It's a secret son"

Suddenly the voice of his father came from behind both of them looked towards the living room and saw that arashi has just entered the house. Both mother son ran up to him and decided to give him a hug as he hugged them back.

"Haha haha I didn't know that I was this missed" arashi said jokingly

" don't get ahead of yourself I just want to know why did you went to the bank this morning?" kuroi asked with a narrowed eyes

"Yeah dad what is the surprise please tell me" kage asked his father

"Like I said its a surprise son" arashi replied with a wink as both kuroi and kage looked at each other and thought the same thing

'Hopefully this isn't something illegal'

"Now, I also have a news my companies boss is throwing a party for his daughters birthday and he has invited all of his employees to that party aswell" arashi said.

"Oh? And when is this party?" kuroi asked in a curious tone

"Tomorrow night so be prepared for that as the whole family will be going to attend that party also I have a serious discussion with the boss himself and hopefully our son could become friends with the bosses daughter as she is the same age as him" arashi said which made both kuroi and kage confused

"Enough of that! Let's go eat from a restaurant! This will allow kuroi to take a break from kitchen work!"

"Yeah!"

"B-but I have to go to the hospital!"

"Mom you can take a day off this once and spend time with your family"

"*Sigh* fine... I will tell them I am taking a day off today..."

Because this both father and son cheered
