There were only two men hauling thing up and down the ramp from the other ship to this one.
Feng silently hid behind a barrel.
"Why is Jeff taking too long?" one of them mumbled as he dragged a huge crate full of things.
"Most likely getting dressed. Tonight we are going to have a fine meal of those high-class ladies after all." The other guy mumbled as he tied the crate with a rope.
"I hate it. Why is cap'n favoring him? What about us? I want women too,"
"Enough chattering, go arrange this in our storeroom," he pushed the crate his way.
The man groaned and pushed it towards the room.
Feng silently sneaked close and locked the door.
The pirate left behind noticed her. "Who are you what are you doing?"
"Captain sent me sir." Feng mumbled with her head down.
"Cap'n does not employ kids,"
"Cap'n said that there are things to be cleaned sir.... I do stitches very well sir..." she replied, glancing at him through her shaggy hair...
"hmmm..." he turned his back.
Feng jumped on him and swiftly sliced the back of his neck. Blood gushed out, and the man drowned in the pool of his own blood.
'I killed for a good cause.... I think so'
She wiped the blood off and ran back to the dungeon doors. By the time she opened it, inside was a bloody mess. The kids had killed the one she had tied up in cold blood. Clarina stood with them with a wide smirk on her face.
"Okay..... I have cleared out the ship as of now. Take charge of it and be subtle don't do anything to eye-catching. I will return to my ship and save my family."
"You come with me," she dragged the scared man with her. "Listen to me. When we get the amulet, I want you to freeze every pirate you can."
"I don't know.... I am scared,"
"Are you going to live as scared man all your life? Man up! Pull your pants up and for once be brave. Look at me, I am ten! Even I am willing to fight for my life," Feng shouted in his face. Technically she was thirty-five-year-old in a child's body but she decided to ignore the details.
He just peered at her with tears dripping down. "O-okay...."
"Good, don't worry I won't risk your life at any cost. Trust me, yes?"
"I don't even know your name," he mumbled shyly, looking at his hands.
"Oh sorry, my name is Feng. Feng mei. What's yours?" Feng dragged him up to the deck.
"Oli," he whispered with a shy smile.
"Oli it's nice to meet you. Let's go,"
She ran around, slicing off the ropes that tied the ships together.
"You go first." she let him crawl over to the other ship and followed after him.
They both hid behind a huge crate. She swiftly jumped up and pushed down the ramp. She watched as the waves push it further away. 'Well.... I have done it,'
Of course, she had a way out of this ship. She left one of the hooks attached. In case she was discovered, she will just use it.
'I am not captain jack sparrow how am I going to go back to that guy and give him the amulet....'
"Oli listen to me. You might have to stay in a dark, scary place for a while, yes. I will come get you."
He hesitantly glanced at her.
"I promise. I promise I will come get you." she pulled the crate open and gestured for him to jump in.
Oli nervously jumped in and rolled himself up to fit in.
"I will come get you. I promise."
"I trust you..." he whispered with a wide smile.
Feng closed the crate. "I'm not sure if I can trust myself now... gods darn it. This fucked up game is getting on my nerves now..."
She hid around and checked the surroundings. There were at least twenty-five pirates on this ship. All of them dispersed to different levels. On the lower deck there were lesser men and on the higher deck there were more.
The ship also had a hierarchy. The richer one is, the higher their rooms are. She had once asked lady Hiliana about it. She casually whispered that this trip was a last minute one, so she had booked the available room.
'I bet that captain is on that higher deck searching for more valuables...'
Feng silently sneaked to the sides. While playing on this deck, she had always noticed a huge net cast on the sides that connects till the top decks.
The high-class families prefer their journey to be smooth but natural phenomenon like rain is unstoppable. So to shield them from the rain and snow, their decks were fully covered in this huge magic net. It looks invisible because of its small threads and it is aesthetically pleasing as well.
'I have to become spider man now..' she wore a dark clothing just for this reason. It was getting dark and wearing darker clothes help blend in well. She swiftly ran to the net and gently touched it.
Each string was very strong. 'Hope it holds my weight though,'
She started her climb...
She climbed up to the top deck and peered at things from up above.
Hades, the pirate captain, walked out with a slight limp in his left leg... he was donned with luxurious silks and jewels all over.
"Call the men up. It's time for a celebratory party.." the captain laughed in glee.
"What about the ones on our ship, cap'n?"
"Let them be. Jeffrey will take care of storing our goods. As for us... we shall enjoy some fresh meat..." the captain giggled like a choking pig.
Feng held back the urge to vomit. 'What is with men and referring to women as meat... This is just fucking sick.'
She silently stalked him.
The captain was always followed by at least three men. All of them were in great shape.
'I guess I would have to wait till this said party begins.'
